Featured and good topics in Wikipedia A featured topic is a collection of inter-related articles that are of a good quality (though are not necessarily featured articles).A good topic is a collection of inter-related articles that are of a good quality (though are not necessarily featured articles) with a less stringent quality threshold than a featured topic. This page is for the nomination of potential featured and good topics. See the featured and good topic criteria for criteria on both types of topic. If you would like to ask any questions about your topic and the featured/good topic process before submitting it, visit Wikipedia talk:Featured and good topic candidates. Before nominating a topic, nominators may wish to receive feedback by listing it at Featured and good topic questions. Nominators must be sufficiently familiar with the subject matter and sources to deal with objections during the FTC/GTC process. If you nominate something you have worked on, note it as a self-nomination. Nominators who are not significant contributors to the articles of the topic should consult regular editors of the articles prior to nomination. Nominators are expected to respond positively to constructive criticism and to make an effort to address objections promptly. The featured and good topics coordinators Aza24, MaranoFan and Gog the Mild determine the timing of the process for each nomination. For a nomination to be promoted to FT or GT status, consensus must be reached for a group to be promoted to featured or good topic status. If enough time passes without objections being resolved, nominations will be removed from the candidates topic and archived. To contact the FTC coordinators, please leave a message on the FTC talk page, or use the {{ @FTC}} notification template elsewhere. You may want to check previous archived nominations first: |

Nomination procedureTo create a new nomination use the form below (e.g., Wikipedia:Featured and good topic candidates/Saffron/archive1) and click the "Create new nomination" button. Once the nomination page is created, remember to transclude it in the appropriate section below, to leave nomination templates on the talk pages of the articles nominated for the topic. For detailed instructions on how to nominate topics or add articles to existing topics, see Wikipedia:Featured and good topic candidates/Nomination procedure. Supporting and objectingPlease review all the articles of the nominated topic with the featured and good topic criteria in mind before deciding to support or oppose a nomination.
For a topic to be promoted to featured or good topic status, consensus must be reached that it meets the criteria. The FGTC coordinators are usually the ones to assess this consensus and close FGTC discussions. If there is a consensus to promote, the promote instructions are located here. If enough time passes without objections being resolved (at least one week), nominations will be removed from the candidates list and archived. Nominations will stay here for ten days if there is unanimous consent, or longer if warranted by debate. |
The Green Bay Packers, an American football team in the National Football League (NFL), have taken part in every NFL draft since it began in 1936. The purpose of the draft is to provide a venue for NFL teams to secure the rights to eligible persons, typically college football players, to help form and maintain a roster. The Packers have selected hundreds of players in the draft since it began, with many going on to play for the team.
This featured topic includes a general overview article of the Packers' draft history, as well as a breakdown of each selection, including first-round draft picks. {{ Green Bay Packers draft history sidebar}} provides navigation between each article. Topic is large enough and meets all other criteria. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 18:56, 3 June 2024 (UTC) -- « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 18:56, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
The history of the National Hockey League begins with the end of its predecessor league, the National Hockey Association (NHA), in 1917. After unsuccessfully attempting to resolve disputes with Eddie Livingstone, owner of the Toronto Blueshirts, executives of the three other NHA franchises suspended the NHA, and formed the National Hockey League (NHL), replacing the Livingstone team with a temporary team in Toronto, the Arenas. The NHL's first quarter-century saw the league compete against two rival major leagues—the Pacific Coast Hockey Association and Western Canada Hockey League—for players and the Stanley Cup. The NHL first expanded into the United States in 1924 with the founding of the Boston Bruins, and by 1926 consisted of ten teams in Ontario, Quebec, the Great Lakes region, and the Northeastern United States. At the same time, the NHL emerged as the only major league and the sole competitor for the Stanley Cup; in 1947, the NHL completed a deal with the Stanley Cup trustees to gain full control of the Cup. The NHL's footprint spread across Canada as Foster Hewitt's radio broadcasts were heard coast-to-coast starting in 1933.
Meets all of the criteria. -- Cos ( X + Z) 17:02, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
Rachelle Ann Go (born August 31, 1986) is a Filipino singer and actress. Known primarily for her work in theater, she has starred in musicals on Broadway and in the West End. She began her career as a pop artist in her native country after winning the television talent show Search for a Star (2003). She has since released five studio albums and a live album. Go started her theater career in the Philippines playing the lead roles of Ariel in The Little Mermaid (2011) and Jane Porter in Tarzan (2013). She had her international breakthrough as Gigi Van Tranh in the West End revival of Miss Saigon in 2014, reprising the part on Broadway in 2017. She gained further recognition for her portrayal of Eliza Schuyler in the original 2017 West End production of Hamilton. Go has also played Fantine in various stagings and tours of Les Misérables. Outside of music, she also took on roles in the television series Diva (2010), Nita Negrita (2011), Biritera (2012), and Indio (2013).
This is an overview of the career and achievements of Filipino singer Rachelle Ann Go. I started working on the main article early this year and continued with its related lists and with all relevant articles now promoted to featured status, I believe this now meets WP:FT criteria. Happy to address your comments and thanks to all who take the time to review. -- Pseud 14 ( talk) 15:58, 17 May 2024 (UTC)

The Latin Grammy Awards are presented by the Latin Recording Academy to recognize outstanding achievement in the Latin music industry. The Album of the Year is one of the four accolades included in the General Field.
The Latin Grammy Award for Album of the Year is part of the General Field of the Latin Grammy Awards. During 24 years handing those awards, 2 featured articles and 8 good articles have been written for winning and nominated albums, and this would make a good topic. -- Javier Espinoza ( talk) 00:13, 19 April 2024 (UTC)

The first season of the American post-apocalyptic drama television series The Last of Us was originally broadcast on HBO between January and March 2023. Based on the video game franchise developed by Naughty Dog, the series is set twenty years into a pandemic caused by a mass fungal infection, which causes its hosts to transform into zombie-like creatures and collapses society. The first season, based on the 2013 game The Last of Us, follows Joel ( Pedro Pascal), a smuggler tasked with escorting the immune teenager Ellie ( Bella Ramsey) across a post-apocalyptic United States, wherein they encounter several other characters. The season was filmed in Alberta from July 2021 to June 2022. Neil Druckmann, who wrote and co-directed the games, assisted Craig Mazin with scriptwriting the season's nine episodes.
The Last of Us received acclaim from critics, who praised the performances, writing, production design, and score; several called it the best adaptation of a video game. It was nominated for several awards—the first live-action video game adaptation to receive major awards consideration—including 24 Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. Across linear channels and HBO Max, the series premiere was watched by 4.7 million viewers on the first day—the second-biggest for HBO since 2010—and almost 40 million within two months; by May, the series averaged almost 32 million viewers per episode.
This proposed topic covers the entire first season of the post-apocalyptic drama series The Last of Us, including the season article itself. I enjoyed working on these as the season aired from January to March last year—each episode was created/expanded on its airdate, with GA nominations starting in February. Each episode was reviewed at GA between August 2023 and April 2024, followed by the season article (split in February 2024) today. Special thanks to the editors who reviewed the GA nominations— BuySomeApples, Sammi Brie (×2), Bilorv, OlifanofmrTennant (×2), NegativeMP1, Butlerblog, Skyshifter, and BarntToust—and of course to every editor who has contributed to each of the articles. – Rhain ☔ ( he/him) 00:27, 22 May 2024 (UTC)

The UEFA Europa Conference League is a relatively new competition and did not exist at the time of the 2008 FT nomination. Additionally, the Intercontinental Cup list did not exist at the time of the nomination either, it should be included as it was jointly administered by both UEFA and CONMEBOL, and the competition is included in the lead article tallies. Without these lists reaching recognised status, this topic fails criteria 1d and 1e, thus it should be delisted. The UEFA Women's Champions League list is not included as the lead article only outlines men's competitions. Idiosincrático ( talk) 01:13, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
