The result of the discussion was:containerize.

Nominator's rationale: containerize, without specification of disease it is an indiscriminate and trivial characteristic. This is follow-up on
this earlier discussion.

Support all these. The individual articles are largely of people who died in old age from unspecified causes.

Support in principle but this will be a brute for the closing admin to deal with, as all articles will need to be manually recategorised to an appropriate subcat.

Support' containerization. We should only categorize by some spefici disease deaths, not directly by the notion the death was caused by a disease.

The result of the discussion was:keep. However, the contents may need to be purged of non-defining members. bibliomaniac15 05:33, 17 December 2021 (UTC)reply
Oppose. We could take a look at the articles in these categories and see if some of them might be wrongly categorized based on
WP:NONDEF, but there are certainly some people for whom autism/Asperger's is one of their defining characteristics rather than just an incidental one, so the categories themselves should not be deleted. --
Zander251 (

Oppose. Some of the articles are almost certainly incorrectly categorised, and it's weird that these are two separate categories considering that Aspergers is an obsolete diagnosis, but overall it's absolutely worth having an autistic people category. And a lot of people, including a lot of autistic people, do consider it to be defining. --
