Nominator's rationale: Vaguely defined category which poorly describes the nature of the subcategories. No corresponding article; only a disambiguation page improperly formatted disambiguation page which I have converted to a Wiktionary redirect.

Oppose This category points at cultural history of more than 100 years ago. So the hint at Included in e.g.
Category:British illustrators is leading astray. As British illustrators our users would surely prefer to have illustrators of their lifetime per category navigation. As the number of entries is easy to grasp it is certainly no harm to keep it. --

Listify and delete -- membership of a club is not defining. If the club was significant as a point of contact between illustrators, the appropriate way to show that is through a list.

Fayenatic london, the new names of the Rookie-level leagues in Minor League Baseball can be seen on the official website
here. Along with Arizona League -->
Arizona Complex League, the other league renamed was Gulf Coast League -->
Florida Complex League. I would suggest not renaming "Defunct" categories, as the leagues listed there existed and went defunct only under the old naming.

Thanks,
Dmoore5556. I thought about excluding the "Defunct" category, but (i) one existing member already has the name "
Arizona Complex League White Sox", and (ii) if/when any current teams become defunct, we don't want to set up a separate Defunct teams category for the current league name. We could certainly redirect the old name, though. –
FayenaticLondon08:50, 2 July 2021 (UTC)reply
I would also suggest not including the defunct category as those teams went defunct under the old league.. the inclusion of the White Sox article in there is a mistake as that team is NOT defunct.

Ah, I see, that team is in both the main and defunct categories, because of the predecessor franchise by that name in 1998–2002.
[1] Well, I have no objection to keeping that category, then. It might be useful to add a redirect at the above target name, with an entry on the talk page linking to this discussion, to reduce the probability of it being speedily moved later. –

Comment -- If a league is renamed, but is essentially the same thing, we should not have categories for the new name. The precedent for this is alumni categories for merged and renamed colleges, where WP deems alumni to have attended the present college.

Comment One article is a SMALLCAT and leaves no choice. Although I'm in doubt if there aren't a lot more of these films but nobody has translated them into English? Any Japanese-speaking Wikipedian available to check that? The US and Japan are the motherlands of superhero films aren't they? --

Merge per nom; these don't appear to be particularly helpful cross-categorisations. In any case, they should be marked as non-diffusing subcategories and the articles also included in the parents. --

Oppose -- I cannot believe that Hindu and Irish mythology have no more than one woman worthy of an article. The Chinese item is well enough populated to survive anyway.
