- Propose renaming Category:Danish mechanicians to Category:Danish mechanical engineers
- Nominator's rationale: In line with similar categories. Mechanicians might be a Danish term, but as an English term it is very obscure. Rathfelder ( talk) 21:39, 7 September 2020 (UTC)
- Keep: To me it seems a useful category for early mechanicians (people working with mechanical inventions) that were not "engineers" per se. My destinction would be that a mechanician is (or rather was) a craftsman (like a clockmaker but working with other devices) whereas an engineer has been trained at an institution of higher education. But it may be because the word correspinds to a well-estabilshed term in Danish (mekaniker). And the category should of cause not be kept if the main category is deleted. - Nominator's rationale: The category contains one article, Harriadnie Beau, and two redirects to crime articles. I can't find any evidence that Beau attended the college, so inclusion fails WP:CATV. - I have found four potential members of the category, but not verified any of them as alumni of the college. The two articles are of borderline notability (Beau's article was nominated for deleted with no consensus and Bekris' article is tagged for notability) so I don't think the college article needs a notable alumni section. The category has some potential for growth as the college has been around from 1967 to the present.

Wali, although that does say "As scholars have noted, saints venerated in traditional Turkish Sunni Islam may be classified into three principal categories:... The "greats figures of Islam", both pre-Islamic and those who came after Muhammad, as well as certain sainted rulers." So, perhaps there's case for Pre-Islamic Saints but that's also confusing as it covers Christian saints that aren't consider saints in Islam.
