Arab-American diplomats

Nominator's rationale for option B: I do not think until proven otherwise that a non-incidental link between the status of diplomat and an Arab-American background could be found for anybody under the conditions set in guidelines
WP:EGRS and
WP:OCEGRS. The four articles currently in this category do not provide convincing rationale that the individuals would self-define as Arab-Americans:
Philip Habib: born in Brooklyn to Lebanese Maronite Catholic parents, never defined as an Arab;
Najeeb Halaby: born in Dallas to a Lebanese-Syrian Christian father, never defined as an Arab;
Herro Mustafa: born in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, to a Kurdish family;
William Stoltzfus: born in Beirut to a Mennonite father from Ohio and a Presbyterian mother from Minneapolis.
Delete (a) these people don't belong per
WP:OCEGRS; (b) these are diplomats representing America not Arab America; and (c) it suffers the usual problems (exemplified by Place Clichy above) about defining who belongs and who doesn't and how that can be determined and verified objectively and (d) it's pejorative reminding me of the labeling of a Jewish senator as the senator from Bnai Brith (as opposed to from Ohio).

Delete. As the creator of this category years ago, the argument re
WP:OCEGRS is clear and I support deletion. The category has not proven useful since only four articles are in this category (and none have been added in the 5 years since it was created, from what I can tell). And as other users point out, the inclusion of these four articles is questionable to begin with. If there was more evidence of the notability of this categorization, I would have supported Option A to be consistent with
Category:American people of Arab descent by occupation, or perhaps changing "Arab" to "Middle Eastern," in line with
Category: American people of Middle Eastern descent.

Nominator's rationale: Video games about orphans is not a
WP:DEFCAT. Video games featuring orphans would make a little more sense, but still not a defining characteristic, as these entries aren't about the character(s) being orphans. So while Bruce Wayne might be an orphan, it's no surprise that video games don't focus on Batman's parents being killed. Creator
FelgerFan has been indef blocked as a sock puppet.

Delete as non-defining as these are not defining traits of the games. It's telling that the two articles and several categories all refer to licensed IPs. In which case, those characters are already categorized. Safe to say none of these games are about the characters being orphans, and might not even verifiably be about orphans at all, if not for the plot details found in other fiction.

Nominator's rationale: A category about "fictional-language video games"? Not a
WP:DEFCAT; there are just a few games actually about fictional languages (see earlier discussion at
WT:VG) and games with fictional languages is also not a defining characteristic of a video game. Creator
FelgerFan has been indef blocked as a sock puppet.

Delete as non-defining. Nearly any fantasy world will have fictional races with fictional languages, and so it would be redundant with various fantasy categories.

Nominator's rationale: This is effectively an empty category. It's a
WP:SMALLCAT with only a single redirect, with a longer description. I feel this would almost be a speedy delete, but it's an edge case and I'm still getting a feel for what consensus best practices are around these categories. Either way, this category is unlikely to be populated by an article, because none of these plot elements have gained any coverage in third party sources (beyond sources that cover the larger episodes / fiction itself).

Convert to list; I would actually move the category page into article space. The content might then either be expanded, or merged & redirected to the section
Babylon_5#War_and_peace. If it's expanded as a standalone list,
Shadow War needs to be inserted; I don't know where it belongs in chronological order. –

Nominator comment I'm fine with deleting this and re-creating it as a section in the main Babylon 5 article, as suggested by Fayenatic London, and echoed by Marcocapelle and Peterkingiron. I think that would make it unanimous.
