Hmmmmmm... - there seems to be a mix of team and club categories. Which is more appropriate? Are we looking at a deletion or a reverse merge?

Why is this now empty? -- It seems to have been emptied out of process. I would comment that these will be amateur teams (or clubs). Should the category exist?

The result of the discussion was:no consensus on top category; merge all the small sub-categories. For now, I will leave the American, French and Russian sub-cats (i.e. population 4 or more). –

Nominator's rationale: I'm going to go on a limb here and say that the parent category and all of its subcategories that include "acting theorists" in their names should be deleted. In the over 10 years this category has existed, there has never been an article or redirect at
Acting theorist,
Acting theorists,
Acting theory or
Acting theories. Without some method in which to define this term via content in a Wikipedia article (whether it be an article itself or a section thereof), having categories for such a subject is unverifiable
WP:OR in its use as a real term. So, as far as it stands at this point with the state of Wikipedia, the term "acting theorist" is at worst made-up and at best undefined.

Nominator's rationale: Single-entry
WP:SMALLCAT for one newspaper in a small town. Every town does not automatically need one of these the moment it has one media outlet with a Wikipedia article; it is only valuable if there are at least four or five media outlets to categorize, and otherwise the outlets should just be categorized at the provincial level instead of a one-item city category. The entry is also already in the "published in Fars" category that I've proposed for renaming to "Media in Fars Province" below, so no valuable context will be lost.

Support. When I created this (and similar Iranian media categories) it had quite a few more articles, but a lot of radio station articles have been merged since.
Grutness...wha?03:00, 3 April 2020 (UTC)reply
Yeah, that makes sense. We have indeed kiboshed a lot of poorly sourced and sometimes even entirely unverifiable articles about radio stations in the past few years.

Nominator's rationale: Improperly named category. While categories for "Magazines published in X" and/or "Newspapers published in X" may exist, we have no recognized scheme of mixing magazines with newspapers in an undifferentiated "Published in X" tree -- if we aren't splitting magazines and newspapers up into their own magazine or newspaper specific subcategories, then they go in a "Media in X" category, not a "Published in X" category, and even if we wanted to split them up into "magazines" and "newspapers" categories on numerical grounds their parent category would still be "Media in Fars Province" rather than "Published in Fars".

Rename to
Category Television morning shows in Canada and
Category:Television morning shows in the United States. It is entirely correct that the generic name for the type of show this is, in North American English, is "morning show" rather than "breakfast television". Admittedly one of the Canadian ones uses Breakfast Television as its name, but that's actually another reason why this should go forward — it makes the Canadian one look, wrongly, like an
eponymous category for that particular show in isolation rather than a group category for all of them. But the term "television" should still be retained in the category names, because radio stations also have morning shows.

Oppose -- There is no such thing as British law. Commerical law tends to be similar, but Scots law is different from English (and Welsh). Northern Irish (and RoI) law is also based on common law and similar to English.

Oppose per Oculi. To amplify, the reason there is no "American law" is because there is no sovereign entity named "America". "American" is common casual usage but it would be confusing to reference "American law." --
