- Propose renaming Category:Ankara Vilayet to Category:Angora Vilayet
- Propose renaming Category:People from Ankara Vilayet to Category:People from Angora Vilayet
- Nominator's rationale: Other ENwiki articles about Ottoman Empire vilayets use pre-1923 names, like "Constantinople Vilayet" and "Adrianople Vilayet", so this should use "Angora" instead of Ankara. WhisperToMe ( talk) 17:48, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: Most of the articles in this category have little to nothing to do with the working class. They are neighborhoods in US cities, accents, books etc. There is no White American working class article and even white working class is a redirect to a larger article about the working class in the United States. - Mild support for deletion. Although lower-class white culture most probably exists in several forms in the US (and Poor White may be the topic article you are looking for, at least for one such subculture), the current collection of articles seem to follow a very strange motivation, not unlike a WP:COATRACK. Editor(s) of this category seem to put great effort in looking for anything "white", even not self-defined as such, and gathering otherwise unrelated content. E.g. articles about specific places or neighbourhoods are being categorized as "white working class" and placed next to elements typical of Southern culture and white supremacist organisations. The focus on Baltimore is also strange. I guess that these different topics are already covered by several pre-existing categories, such as Category:Culture of the Southern United States, Category:Stereotypes of white Americans, Category:White supremacy or Category:Working class in the United States. The link between them is vague at best. Upmerging anywhere would not be an option, as a severe purge would be needed. Place Clichy ( talk) 16:31, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

- Nominator's rationale: Per WP:CAT in general
- The Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science is part of the UK government and I have no conceptual objection to a government agency category. In practice though all 14 articles here are ships, similar to Category:Ships of the United States Bureau of Fisheries. This is really just a truth in advertising nomination so the name of the category reflects the actual contents. - Rename - specific names are much better. This is a set category of ships (apart from one article). No objection to eponymous topic category Category:Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science for Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science if content can be found eg a people subcat. - Comment The main article indicates that CEFAS has 4 UK laboratories (which are covered in the main article); one current and various past research ships; 2 laboratories in the Arabian Penninsula. There is scope for populating it with more content; also one for CEFAS people: there is a list called alumni in the main article, though it may be past staff rather than alumni.
