I'm not sure about the notability of this tournament. Among the sources, the Fox Sports one is significant coverage but I'm more iffy about the PC gamer one. I don't know if Kotaku is considered a reliable source for notability purposes. It's also kind of strange that
Smite World Championship remains a red link while this year is not.

Keep There are reliable sources covering this event, as you just mentioned. I just created the Smite World Championship page after seeing the AfD, just for disclosure.--

Merge to
Smite World Championship and expand. I'm not sure if the individual years are warranted at this point, as though the prize pools are considerable, the coverage isn't comparable to the Dota or League of Legends championships, which do warrant individual articles... but only after several years of tournaments and major coverage. At this point for Smite, however? I don't see it. However, I do stress that the general World Championships article has potential, so let's put the materials there are expand that.

I think I can live with that. However, mergers aren't for AFD discussions so I guess I'll withdraw my deletion proposal and we can further discuss whether to just put the separate years into the main article is and until there's enough that's worth spinning off. --
