city, this is a fairly small city, not a "major metropolitan area".

DeleteWP:POLITICIAN says mayors are likely to be notable, but it looks like this one is not. I could not find significant coverage in reliable sources. JujutacularT ·

Weak delete. He's the mayor of a town of around 25,000 people, there is some very limited coverage that can verify that, and the coverage is in the
Sun Journal, which appears to be a reliable source. However, I don't think it crosses the bar of "significant coverage" that the community has set for local politicians. The coverage is, in my view, too limited to form the basis of a reliable article. --
