a profile on Google Scholar and it says that he has h-index of 29 with 7692 citations. I don't know what is the threshold for notability, but for me it seems pretty impressive.

- h-index is not a great measure of determining reputation. The average h-index will vary quite a bit by discipline for example. It's also specifically noted here that h-index is of limited usefulness in determining notability for academics. Sgubaldo ( talk) 01:53, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

- Keep. The citation numbers are strong enough for WP:PROF#C1 regardless, but I'm especially impressed that he is getting numbers like that for work written in Indonesian.
