The result was Speedy Keep per WP:POLITICIAN confirmed by settled precedent that a member of a state legislature is notable. -- Philosopher Let us reason together. 13:20, 2 April 2009 (UTC) reply
This page about an Oregon politician doesn't seem to me to meet WP:POLITICIAN, and the first administrator to have speedied it before me apparently felt the same way, but the contributor is insistent that that this individual has notability, so I bring it to the community for a conclusive decision. I must admit that I didn't grasp his former status as a state representative, and I'm not sure if that contributes to notability (I'm not an American and I'm not sure of the intricacies of that system). There are very few reliable sources that were offered in the second iteration; the contributor has some what about "X" arguments which certainly aren't relevant.
