WP:BLP of a person whose only substantive claim of
notability is as an as-yet-unelected candidate in a pending election at the mayoral level. This is not a claim that satisfies
WP:NPOL — for any election to any level of government, if you cannot make a legitimate and well-sourced claim that the person was already notable enough for a Wikipedia article for other reasons before they became a candidate then they must win the election, not merely run in it, to become notable enough. But nothing else here constitutes a reason why he'd qualify for an article right now, and the sourcing is disproportionately primary or insubstantial and thus doesn't adequately support a claim under
WP:GNG either. Delete, without prejudice against recreation if he wins on election night.

Delete Fails
WP:POLITICIAN, as aptly put in the nomination. Nothing else suggests notability, service on USAID's Board for International Food and Agricultrual Development (
BIFAD) does not appear to meet notability requirements. --

Delete It's clear that an electoral candidate does not meet the criteria
WP:POLITICIAN, even more so at a City level. None of the sources provided, nor the text of the article, provide any evidence of
notability, and I was unable to find any other sources supporting the notability standards for this subject. Helenabella(Talk) 08:25, 30 April 2015 (UTC)reply
