This cricketer does not meet the revised version of
WP:NCRIC, as he never played in an international test. He played only one match at the first-class domestic level in New Zealand, and no coverage of him outside of database listings could be found.

Delete unless someone adds some actual encyclopedic prose referenced to reliable, independent sources that devote significant coverage to this person. We do not need database entries masquerading as encyclopedia articles.

Redirect to
List of Otago representative cricketers I mean there's a clear redirect per
WP:ATD here which the delete votes have ignored. He would have past the previous guidelines. It looks like he fails GNG in a search although some of our NZ editors might be able to dig some information out on him. But as I said, the minimum here is that the article should be redirected.

Delete Unless someone does the research and adds encyclopedic content. Technically zero "first class" game, but does have one List A game (the one-day format equivalent of first-class status, which also counts as the "highest domestic level" as far as
WP:NCRIC is concerned)... so a technicality that makes no difference either way.

Very strong redirect to
List of Otago representative cricketers per
WP:ATD (note to closer: policy, not a guideline - and I don't see any other policy-based arguments advanced here). This follows the long established consensus that cricketer articles such as this should be redirected to suitable lists when they exist. This was established by 2018 at the latest as a viable ATD. The argument that there is no claim of notability is patently false - played top-level domestic cricket - and there will undoubtedly be some at least passing mentions in Dunedin based press from the early 80s, although none of these are likely to be available online. I would never argue for keep here, but this is so clearly not a deletion situation.
