This individual does not meet notability criteria. While local politicians are not inherently non-notable, Johnson does not appear to meet the standard set forth. Mpen320 ( talk) 19:21, 17 April 2017 (UTC) reply

  • Delete. Elk Grove Village is not large enough that being its mayor would constitute an automatic WP:NPOL pass in and of itself — if the article had enough substance and enough reliable sourcing to get him over WP:GNG, then it could still be kept anyway, but it can't claim an automatic keep just because the word "mayor" is involved. But of the sources here, nearly all are stacked onto once breaking his collarbone in a biking accident, and his son being arrested for dangerous driving, so none of them are providing any substance that would aid his notability as a mayor — for that, we would need a lot more than just one source about the political substance of his mayoralty. • 'Delete Elk Grove Village is not large enough or otherwise important enough to make the mayor default notable, and there are no other claims to notability for this individual. John Pack Lambert ( talk) 20:04, 19 April 2017 (UTC) reply
