Comment: well, no, not news, and the current state of the article is almost non-existent... but all four references currently in the article are good ones and even if they are interviews and therefore primary sources, there seems to be enough third-party detail about Mr. Murad for at least a stub... there's also an interview with him on
CBC Radio[1] and an article on Vice[2], although these are not so solid sources.

I put his name into Google Translate and searched with that, and it mostly brought up the same sources as in English. But I'm not an expert on what constitutes a reliable source in the Arabic world.

Keep as he does have significant coverage in reliable sources such as the BBC, Vice and others that can be used to expand the article, thanks

Keep. The existing refs seem adequate for a relatively new singer. I searched under بشر مراد which brought up the Urdu version of the BBC article but no other reliable sources (I also had the impression that Google search isn’t always as effective in Arabic as in English).
