- Comment There appears to be a slow-moving legal and policy debate about whether dental specialties outside the control of the American Dental Association are valid. See, for example, this Google new search "American+Dental+Board+of+Anesthesiology"&tbm=nws. Would merging this and the American Board of Dental Specialties articles into a new article on "Dental Specialties Controversy" or similar not be a better option?
