The morning host is a conservative, Jerry Kristafar, who had led opposition to Mayor John DeStefano's proposal to give illegal immigrants ID cards. "The Coach" George DeMayo, provides local sportscasts. National conservative talk hosts fill out the broadcast schedule, as Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham handle the late morning, midday, and early evening time slots. Beck was previously the morning host on another New Haven station, WKCI.

In mathematics, the algebraic topology on the set of group representations from G to H is the topology of pointwise convergence, i.e. pi converges to p if pi(g) = p(g) for every g in G. This terminology is often used in the case of the algebraic topology on the set of discrete, faithful representations of a Kleinian group into PSL(2,C). Another topology, the geometric topology (also called the Chabauty topology), can be put on the set of images of the representations, and its closure can include extra Kleinian groups that are not images of points in the closure in the algebraic topology. This fundamental distinction is behind the phenomenon of hyperbolic Dehn surgery and plays an important role in the general theory of hyperbolic 3-manifolds.

Her Majesty's Wizard is one of the earliest books by Christopher Stashef. The plot A PhD student called Matt is transported into a fantasy world. In that world, which mirrors our own (but a thousand years ago), magic still reigns supreme. Dragons, wizards, sorcerers and giants are just some of the exotic residents of this world. Most importantly, faith (in the christ) exists in this world, and largely influences the works of men [1]. Devout men who believe in god - exactly the way the christian doctrine dictates - will turn out succesful in their actions. Criticism The book gets most of its criticism from its strong adherence to the christian doctrine [2]. While it is well written, and tension and humor are kept throughout the book, it carries a very large propoganda in it. If you're not a good christian, then you're not one of the 'good guys'. If you think lusty thoughts for your neighbour, then you are a sinner, and just might transform into a werewolf when the moon is full. The sin here lies in the thought - and not in the actual doings. The way to repent your sins is not to think over them or try to make amends to the ones hurt by them. To repent for your sins in the eyes of god, you must go to a confessor and confess your sins. He will then send you to recite a few 'ave Maria' or the likes - and you're back into the fold. Overall, the book is recommended only for adults, who are able to look past it's propaganda and enjoy the story as a whole. It is much less recommended for children of any age, who can be influenced by the propaganda inside, and carry it with them for a very long time after finishing the book.

Life Of Debt or LOD is an current project founded and led by Bryan Horning from Richmond, Virginia. The project is planned to turn into a three-pieced rock band. Bryan exclaims that the band will "have the sound of grunge like bands especially Nirvana." So far, he has come up with various song titles, a demo title, and a debut album title, but has yet to write lyrics and needs a singer/guitarist and a drummer. Bryan also says that he plans to have it up and running by either late 2008 and early 2009, any musical material has yet to be accomplished. Bryan Horning - #REDIRECT Bass

Lorem Ipsum Books (named after the Lorem Ipsum placeholder text) opened in February 2004 by recent MIT Media Lab graduate Matt Mankins who believed that independent stores should embrace the Internet as sales partner rather than competitor. Mankins believed that bookstores needed to do two things if they were to remain viable: 1) Sell globally and 2) Price with market intelligence not rules of thumb. [1]. Lorem Ipsum Books is a general purpose bookstore, without a particular specialty other than its claim that all books in its store are 'useful books'. The store houses approximately 20,000 individual titles than run the realm between Fiction, Science, History, Biography, Art, Typography and many other genres. In addition to the store's 20,000 titles, the store maintains a warehouse of over 50,000 additional titles that may be requested and run over by the store staff. The casual book buyer may not notice a difference between the appearance of Lorem Ipsum Books and other independent bookstores, but behind the scenes the store is run by custom-made inventory control software called " Ka-Zam" that enables 100% of its inventory to be sold simultaneously online via sites like Amazon.com as well as in the brick and mortar store. Additionally as a departure from traditional bookstores who price used books at half off the cover price, Lorem Ipsum Books uses its inventory control system to spider the Internet and calculate a competitive "market price" for its inventory which appears on semi-adhesive barcodes on the back of the store's books. Besides the occasional reading or author appearance, Lorem Ipsum Books has hosted numerous Indie Rock acts in conjunction with the Cambridge music series known as the Critique of Pure Reason. In recent years this has included Patrick Wolf, John Vanderslice, [2] and Soltero.

Paul G A H Voigt was a well-known personality in British audio in the 20’s and 30’s. He was educated at Dulwich College and University College London, receiving a BSc degree in electrical engineering in 1922. He was a prolific contributor to technical articles and an imaginative innovator. Initially he lived with his parents, at Bowdon Mount, 121 Honour Oak Park, and joined JE Hough Ltd at their Edison Bell works in Peckham primarily to develop the radio side of the business. However, the trade was still using direct acoustic methods to record music and he soon became convinced that better recordings would result if the disc’s groove could be engraved with the same accuracy that the then British Broadcasting Company modulated its broadcasts. Thus was born the idea in about 1922 of ‘electrical recordings’. He designed a large and heavy moving coil cutting heads and feed-back circuits to this end. For some years, the ‘Edibell’ label was regarded as the best quality in recordings. His recording team were in demand in various European concert halls and he spent the best part of 1927 in Zagreb recording over 600 discs He went ahead to design and develop radio circuits, recording cutters, microphones, amplifiers, transformers, pickups and loudspeakers. Under an unusual agreement with the company he remained the owner of the 19 patents on his ideas which he was granted whilst with them. His British patent 238310, on moving coil loudspeakers was applied for in May 20th 1924; weeks after a similar patent in the US had been registered on March 27th 1924. So was laid the good fortune of the American radio industry that were thus able to claim world wide royalties for many years from all other manufacturers of equipment using moving coil loudspeakers. Voigt had been a few weeks away from a fortune for a life! The moving coil design is still universally in use in equipment involving many sound reproduction systems, televisions, radios computers, public address to name a few. Edison Bell succumbed to the slump in 1933, and Voigt, with his valuable patents, set up in his own laboratory workshop, Voigt Patents Ltd in Sydenham, having purchased parts and specialised tooling which he had designed from the Official Receiver. He worked there until after the second war. Meanwhile he lived with his wife, Ida, at Spring Grove House, 53 Church Road, Upper Norwood from 1929. He claimed the view was the same as that from his parents’ home but from a different angle! He was very innovative and was granted a further 13 patents and developed many other manufacturing methods and systems. His work on microphones for example was used by the BBC (unsuccessfully at first because of its susceptibility to damp) in the newly built and plastered Broadcasting House in central London. Its eventual results were way ahead of anything else at the time. However his most enduring work was on loudspeakers and he first proposed the theory and then the development of, the ‘tractrix’ contour for his horns. Even today his Domestic Corner Horn remains up with the best of British hi-fi. I myself use two of these connected in stereo in my home, where their excellent reproduction of modern digital recordings is a vindication of his approach and designs first suggested in 1924. Paul Voigt was an eccentric boffin. During the war because of his parents’ German origins, he was precluded by government officials from contributing to the various government research programmes where he would undoubtedly have been most innovative and effective. His contemporary Angier and his assistant Haddy at Decca (radar and quality recording of broadcasts) and Blumlein at EMI (who, pre-war, designed the first working moving coil stereo disc cutting lathe) benefited from regular professional Institute of Electrical Engineering discussions. Sadly Blumlein was killed in an air crash in Wales, testing his ground plotting H2S airborne radar in 1942. Voigt was even stopped from developing and testing his loudspeaker because it involved sound generating swoops and whistles which, it was claimed, could have been confused with air-raid sirens. Instead he worked (quietly!) on a moving coil pickup, which design even today is regarded as an ideal. After the war, his work continued to be frustrated because of the shortages of cement, plaster and wood; materials used in his loudspeakers but also desperately wanted for the top priority house-building needs of the war-torn nation. The very powerful magnets he needed for his drive units used strategic metals and they too were not forthcoming at any price. He was even denied by the local Council (Croydon) materials to repair his bomb damaged house, -vindictively he thought because of his German name. He felt aggrieved and thwarted. Business recovery was slow, a bankrupt and rationed nation had no need for expensive consumer products and when he injured his back (his main loudspeaker weighed about 70lbs), he concluded that it was time to move on to Canada and set up his business where they didn’t have a socialist government that would control and limit his top quality home entertainment products! He decided to dispose of his stock and sell the business to Lowther’s in Bromley, a trade partner, (by a simple hand-shake agreement) who continued to develop his loudspeakers and eventually market them successfully to an exclusive and very selective clientele. By 1950 he was ready to pack his laboratory and he and his wife moved to Canada. Unfortunately, because his back injury never improved and continued to deteriorate he was unable to set up and develop his business and earn valuable dollars from the affluent west coast of America as he had intended and after a teaching appointment joined the Canadian Federal Government in Radio Regulations. With the resultant small pension augmenting the world-wide royalties he received from his patents, he devoted the 70’s to theoretical studies of scientific matters. He developed curious and interesting original theories on gravity and electro-magnetism which were not readily accepted by contemporary physicists. Nonetheless, his enduring early achievements, as recorded in many professional, trade and consumer publication over the decades as well as the obituaries they published, have assured him of a major and permanent place in audio history. He was the subject of an appreciation of his life’s work by the BKSTS at the Royal Institution in 1969 and was awarded honorary membership of the American AES in 1974. Many have said that he was a leading pioneer in British audio when that was also a world-class achievement. Although simple comparisons are never fair, Voigt’s importance to audio is much greater than Baird’s is to television, yet as a contemporary, public recognition of this Norwood man has never been fully appreciated. Alpha Delta Tau (ΑΔT) is a Team that was founded in April 2006 at the SUNY Alfred in Alfred, New York. Alpha Delta Tau was the first team to be founded on the basis of drinking. Alpha Delta Tau's goal is to promote the advancement of groovy dive bars. The Team strives to be a symbol of the fight against the machine. They seek to unify the masses. Alpha Delta Tau the Team started out in January of 2006 and the rest is a blur. They are now a national team with firms on both the East and West Coasts.
