Velebit Pumped Storage Power Plant ( Croatian: Reverzibilna hidroelektrana Velebit) is a pumped-storage power plant in Croatia that has two turbines with a nominal capacity of 138 megawatts (185,000 hp) each, having a total capacity of 276 megawatts (370,000 hp). [2] As of 2015 [update], it was one of three operational pumped-storage power plants in Croatia. [3]
The plant was designed by Elektroprojekt, Projektni Biro and Geoexpert, and constructed by Industrogradnja, Konstruktor, Hidroelektra, Pomgrad and Geotehnika. [4]
