WELCOME!
Hello, Vendion!
Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for
your contributions. You may benefit from following some of the links below, which will help you get the most out of Wikipedia. If you have any questions you can ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your
talk page and ask your question there. Please remember to
sign your name on talk pages by clicking or by typing four tildes "~~~~"; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you are already loving Wikipedia you might want to consider being "
adopted" by a more experienced editor or joining a
WikiProject to collaborate with others in creating and improving articles of your interest. Click
here for a directory of all the WikiProjects. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the
edit summary field. Happy editing!

Hello, Vendion! I see that you have expressed an interest in being
adopted by an experienced editor. I accept your request, being an experienced editor myself. Whether you want to learn about wiki markup, find something to do, or just talk to somebody, I'm the one you can talk to - just leave a message on my
talk page. Good luck with Wikipedia!
I am very excited about assisting you. We seem to have many interest in common. Why don't you drop me a line at my talk page and tell me a little more about how you would like to contribute to Wikipedia. Also, feel free to ask any questions you may have. I am nocturnal, so do not get discouraged if I don't answer you until the following day.

First, let me say you are doing a great job so far. Joining Wikiprojects is always a good way to collaborate, gain consensus, and contribute. Also, starting on an article's talk page with a suggestion and then
boldly editing an article is exactly what we are supposed to be doing. By the way, speaking of being bold, I hope you do not mind my boldy adding the box to contain your userboxes. Most HTML should work when editing any page, but it is sometimes overkill and there are
shortcuts we can use on Wikipedia. You might look through the quick
tutorial and experiment around in the
sandbox. Many Wikipedians create their own sandbox to work on articles in their userspace. You can do this by editing the page
User:Vendion/Sandbox. In case you haven't got this yet, you can always click on the "watch" tab to add an article and it's talkpage to your watchlist. You can then click on "my watchlist" at the top of the page and conveniently see when changes were made. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I figured that it was you that did that, and thanks for that it looks better now. I have been picking up on some of the basic shortcuts that wikipedia has to offer, and I have played around shortly in a sandbox.

BTW, perhaps you could help me. Is there a simple reference I can use to get the hexadecimal number for various web colors? When I am creating userboxes, tables, or anything else, I would prefer to use the hex numbers rather than the word "red".
