Hi, do you think you could make a page on Cody Linley. I know he already has one, but is there a way it couldbe improved, say, more pictures or something?

sorry dtm17
Wow you changed my quack quack edits so quickly! Is that automatic or do you have to manually do it (even if it's just making a quick review and clicking revert? Anyway, it was funny to me at the time. However, I've made some serious edits to that article to improve it. Hope you like them!
You left a warning that their article Dexbitch had been nominated for afd. This is not true. I have nominated it for speedy deletion and the correct course of action for the user (if they wished to keep the article) would be to insert {{ hangon}} into the body of the article. -- IslaySolomon 00:09, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads-up about only marking things as minor edits when they actually are, but I don't know how I could have marked those changes as minor, because I wasn't logged in - according to this article: [1] "Users who are not logged into Wikipedia are not permitted to mark changes as minor because of the potential for vandalism. The ability to mark changes as minor is another reason to register."
But, I've only been using wikipedia for a week or so, let me know if I am missing something (which is very likely). 124.157.144.83 17:53, 3 July 2006 (UTC)j (aka 124.157.144.83)

Sorry Tuspm!! That was my kid brother. We sincerely apologize. We'll be good now!!!
P.S. Snowmobiles are my favorite, want to go snowmobiling sometime?
Thanks for the advise. Normally I do as you said, but some time ago by some mistake all my edits were marked m automatically. ( meladina 16:51, 7 July 2006 (UTC))
Thank you for fixing my most unfortunate typo ([[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cute gurlzz ]]). Such language is not my style. Rklawton 01:04, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 21:59, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
I don't know if VP allowes other db codes but the correct one for this page would of been {{db-redirnone}}. Just thought you would like to know. TTFN. Whispering 00:53, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Just a quick thought about this, after the fact: you might want to look at using AWB for spelling correction, if you have at any point a resumed interest in doing this. Technically I don't think a manually-approved use of software requires explicit "bot approval" as such, and perhaps it's also better to be left to run without a bot flag, though doubtless running it past some other people to determine consensus for it is a good plan in any event. Hey did you go to CTYI this summer. User:Shanequinlan01
Regarding my RfA, I would like to thank you for voting. Although you opposed my RfA, thank you for letting me know what points you feel I should work on. I wasn't really too suprised when my RfA didn't pass, nor am I disappointed. I will keep trying to do my best here at Wikipedia and I hope you will vote again on my next RfA. Paul Cyr 22:21, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
I can't quite work out what happened with Daniel 123's RfA. It appears to have been something he was working on yesterday, but you actually added it to the WP:RFA list. Did you talk with him about it? I ask because the RfA hasn't been properly accepted and usually wouldn't be added to the RfA list until it was. Thanks, Gwernol 22:11, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
I understand it was a good faith effort on your part. My only worry was that RfA nominees often create their RfAs several days or even weeks before listing it, so they can work on it until its ready to list. If someone else finds an unlisted RfA and puts it on WP:RFA early it could go down in flames because the nominee hasn't finished working on it and it appears that they have created a malformed nomination. I don't think that happened in this case, but as you say its best to explicitly as before doing this yourself. No harm done in this case I think. Thanks for taking the time to contact me. All the best, Gwernol 20:40, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Welcome, Tuspm, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.
Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is the StressUnit, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.
In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.
If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Celestianpower by email or talk page or the Esperanza talk page. Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC Tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

I wasn't messing with the Gametalk.com page, I was just telling the truth about the site.
So, it has to be truthful, but it can't be harsh. That how GT is, many people who go there agree. Its a site thats falling apart and overran by n00bs, but ok, I'll leave GT article alone.
why do you want to delete my article? can you tell me what's wrong with it before you delelte it?
What's on the slab Do not use these templates yet |
---|
You have recently either supported my userbox consolidation efforts or at least applauded them. Currently, I am putting together another larger batch of userbox deletions which will have master templates. (The master templates are not "live" yet.) Would you be willing to support me in this and any future consolidations? There will probably be a lot of resistance at first to this, so having a group of people supporting me would be greatly appreciated.
At the moment, 5 master userboxes are in the works to replace 72. That may increase significantly if I can get the sixth one to work as I would like. Some of the templates to be replaced are widely used, but with the consolidated templates there is more funcitionability.
Please let me know, you can click [edit] above as this conversation is transcluded to all.

One concern I have about this form of communication on a topic that admittedly might be controversial is the potential for accusations of recruiting for votestacking. What are others' views on this? Rfrisbie talk 21:17, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Rfrisbie...have you thought about getting your Myers-Briggs templates deleted in favor of the combined one that Thadman created? That would be another 18 deleted. I did a survey of how many people were using each...
Some people have more than one of these on their user pages, so some of those are duplicates. I know that some look like a lot of people use them, but once we get people migrating from individual templates to master templates, it will get easier and easier to consolidate them. Hopefully we can keep user templates in Template space if we can show that we can police them. - LA @ 22:48, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
I've found a few more that may be worth consolidating: the LOTR userboxes. Luna Santin 02:54, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
I have made four of those master templates live. I will not start the TfD process on the ones they are replacing for at least a week. I want to see how well they catch on without a TfD first. However, do you think that I could slip a little note onto the to be TfDd templates noting the new master without too much censure. The message would be in the box appearing on the user pages like a TfD, but not as obtrusive. - LA @ 06:14, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
Might be a good idea. What do the others think? Æon Insane Ward 06:24, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Some of the card game user templates have been marked with a message about the master template. The ones which are of different design are not marked as of yet. - LA @ 22:47, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

If you find a group of userboxes which you think could be merged, place them on my userbox desk. Please alphabetalize them over the Edit section with NEW in the section name so it stands out a bit. I currently have 6 projects there. - LA @ 00:07, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Thank you so much for voting in my recent RFA. It passed on the relatively narrow vote of 38/8/8. It was also one of the least-participated-in RFA nominations in several months, so pat yourself on the back, and join the party on your left, but first, take your cookie!

Just FYI, you had recently issued a last warning to User_talk:203.217.29.165 for his vandalism to Red Blood Cell. Since that time, that IP address has vandalized numerous times. In a brief and random review of contributions from that IP address, I found none that there has been further vandalism. (See the edits to United States and Ipswich Town F.C.) It appears this IP address may be a candidate for further review and/or action. Arx Fortis 03:23, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
