So 5% GST is encyclopedic concept, however adding a paragraph that explains a lower rate is available is not encyclopedic? Sorry but I have a hard time to acknowledge this. That's why I posted with an external link in the first place - the general concept is this, is you want to know more go here. I was checking "Tax rates around the globe" the concept is the same - look at China VAT rate - it says with many exceptions and is linked with an external website. Please consider this, is very beneficial for people to understand this concept of reduced rate. Thanks Taxclinic ( talk) 16:16, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Taxclinic) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.
There are two issues with this:
Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Why can't I edit Wikipedia?
Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, celebrity or other well-known individual, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.
Probably not. See WP:FAQ/Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.
You are still welcome to write about something other than your company, organization, or clients. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

Sorry if I misinterpreted the guidelines, however taxclinic is a concept where people get free tax advice. Almost every single professional accounting organization in North America would employ a taxclinic program. The username wants to imply "free for everyone".... similar with wikipedia. Btw the name of my company is DBM Chartered Accountant. I have no problem to change the username if this is not acceptable under wiki guidelines.
In terms of content, I just want to make available on wiki the concept of quick method of accounting for GST. Since this is mostly unknown to the public at large, the best fit would be under a GST page - hence where I posted. Now the content on my site is copyrighted, and also needs to be verifiable - how I can indicate this without violating the rules? The tax bulletin is far more complicated, you need to be cognizant of the issue to understand it. All I tired to do was to write about this matter in layman terms.
