Abdulmecid II concerns more Turkish history since there were scores of Muslims throughout the world that still recognized the later Ottoman Caliphs' legitimacy, at least to some degree, see
Khilafat Movement. You indicated that his picture "concerns more to Turkish history, than to Arabian." Actually, the caliphate neither concerns Arabian, Turkish nor any other "ethnicity."

Regardless of what group created the office of the caliphate, the caliphate is a RELIGIOUS not an ethnic concept. Other groups of Muslims who were NOT Turkish accepted the Ottoman caliph as caliph of Islam.
