A tag has been placed on Draft:Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Kanchrapara, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Winged Blades Godric 05:21, 8 December 2017 (UTC)Thank you for your question on my Talk Page. As requested, I am replying here on yours. You asked me to clarify my detailed answer to you to
this question at the Teahouse. Here is the follow-up question you then asked me: Hi, respected Nick Moyes, I asked you few days ago something regarding patrols in Teahouse. You talked something about bots. I didn't understand it then. Can you please again make me understand about that thing. My doubt is that my statistic page shows that I have Zero patrols, but I have edited many random articles and corrected many typos, as I am a Random page patroller and typo patroller.
I did not mention bots at all. You can ignore them. They are not relevant to your question. My reply tried to tell you that you are wrong to believe the type of edits you have been making will be counted as a "Patrol". See your details edit count here. It correctly shows your Patrol count as Zero. I can see from your edit history that you have been doing useful work to fix typos and other errors, but this kind of patrolling is completely different from New Page Patrolling, which does get counted separately. As I tried to explain, every one of your edits is listed at /info/en/?search=Special:Contributions/Souravdas1998, and these show the type of work you have been doing. You have done nothing wrong - all your edits are there to be seen, and I'm delighted you are now leaving clear edit summaries with every one. (You could probably try to mark more of them as minor edits, too) I hope this extra explanation makes sense. Regards from the UK, Nick Moyes ( talk) 13:47, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
To expand on Nick's reply, if you click on the zero patrol count number it links to your patrol count, which in turn has a wiklink from "patrolled" to WP:New pages patrol/patrolled pages, where it explains that the pages concerned are those patrolled by reviewers. And to expand on another point in Nick's reply, if you're not sure of the definition of a minor edit it is at Help:Minor edit. -- David Biddulph ( talk) 14:19, 22 December 2017 (UTC)

It is being planned to organize Wikigraphists Bootcamp in India, please fill out the survey form to help the organizers. Your responses will help organizers understand what level of demand there is for the event (how many people in your community think it is important that the event happens). I believe I concisely and sufficiently explained the removal and edit.
Two entries under legal disputes were describing the same event so I combined them under the same title. Whereas before they were under two separate titles/sub-section. This is unnecessary and bulky.
I removed the section under 'suspected Gang affiliation'. This is not fact and text is merely based upon speculation and thus this "information" as well as not being a legal dispute non-factual opinion-based information has no place on a wikipedia article. As incorrect and negative information on a person in the public domain this could be classed deformation of character. The references used to describe this information themselves do not have reputable sources and make claims with no evidence. Platform51 ( talk) 12:22, 10 February 2018 (UTC)
Hello - my apologies for the delay in replying to your request for help on talk page archiving. (Archiving is not my strong point, I must be honest). I see you've been experimenting a bit. I think you are right to avoid monthly archives - really only of use on very busy pages. Stick with keeping quite a few past discussions on your main talk page, rather than archiving after a few weeks. I think 90 days is sensible for a not hugely active editor like yourself, so leaving the last 30 to 60 discussions visible to everyone is a good idea. I could have a play around with your archives (and would probably suggest moving content from the monthly archives into the Archive 1 you've created.) If I make a mess of things you could easily revert anything I do. Let me know. Nick Moyes ( talk) 22:21, 19 February 2018 (UTC)

In 2017 – 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India Chapter (WMIN) and user groups from India, are piloting a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program will (a) support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and (b) sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.
Phase (a) has been completed, during which active contributors were awarded laptops and internet stipends. Phase (b) will be a contest in which editors will come together and develop a writing contest focused on content gaps. Each month three individual prizes will be awarded to each community based on their contribution for the month. The prizes worth 3,000 INR, 2000 INR, and 1,000 INR, will be awarded to the top contributors for each month. The contest started at March 1, 2018, 0:00, and will end at May 31, 2018, 23:59 (IST). Hello, Souravdas1998. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Samiha Badda ( talk) 12:29, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
Hi Souravdas1998. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have temporarily enabled rollback on your account until 2019-03-02. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ Amory ( u • t • c) 12:21, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/16 Puppies Killing Case until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. signed, Rosguill talk 00:04, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
Please be more careful about what you accept into the Exotic pet article in the future when reviewing pending changes. There has been ongoing vandalism, and the IP whose edits you accepted has been blocked repeatedly for it. Nobody keeps whales as housepets, and lions and penguins are also extremely rare as pets. We can't attempt to list every possible animal that has ever been kept in captivity. Please see the discussion on the Talk page of that article and the article's edit history. — BarrelProof ( talk) 03:19, 10 March 2019 (UTC)
