Hi, sorry everyone's always asking so much of you, but here I go again....
I
had assumed that DYKUpdateBot used the |subpage=
parameter of {{
DYKmake}} to generate the |nompage=
parameter in the {{
DYK talk}} on the article's talk page.
But then I wasn't sure if that's what the bot does, and came here to check your talk page, but the only thing I found was a request that the bot ignore that parameter.
If you're already aware of this situation, I apologize for bothering you. In any case, thanks for all of your hard work! MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 20:07, 5 November 2011 (UTC)
Has something happened to the DYK bots? As noted at Wikipedia talk:Did you know#Main page update on 6 Nov, at 12:00UTC, DYKUpdateBot missed the last scheduled update and the last update by DYKHousekeepingBot was at 06:33 (UTC). -- Allen3 talk 12:41, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on File:Lesson One by Frederick Hammersley.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Looks like another communications hiccup may have occurred. DYKUpdateBot missed the 00:00, 10 November 2011 update and DYKHousekeepingBot has not made any updates despite several new DYK nominations having been submitted a couple hours ago. -- Allen3 talk 00:24, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
It seems that DYKHousekeepingBot hasn't updated Wikipedia:Did you know/DYK hook count in more than 24 hours... -- Orlady ( talk) 04:08, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
The bot missed the update of 00:00 UTC 29 December, but apparently self-recovered after that. Materialscientist ( talk) 11:48, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
