Hi - I'm Girth Summit, an administrator here. Can I ask how you became aware of the deletion discussions concerning the above subject? It would be a very unusual thing for a new editor to stumble across - are you perhaps a friend of the original author, or connected to the subject in some way? Another editor has expressed a concern that this account might actually be being controlled by the original author (this is something we call sockpuppetry); I don't think that is the case, but it would help assuage some concerns if you were to explain how you actually came across the article, and the discussion. Thanks, Girth Summit (blether) 18:44, 30 May 2024 (UTC) reply

Hello - I am associated with the organization this discussion is regarding. Not at all associated with the original author, nor do I know who that person is. I happened upon the discussion by chance, when just viewing the ILA Wikipedia page recently and seeing that there was some conversation about it's validity as an entity. I reviewed the sited articles and thought that ILA still met the necessary criteria. Adding content to support that claim. SamwiseTarly ( talk) 20:18, 30 May 2024 (UTC) reply
Thank you. Please read our conflict of interest fuidelines. You need to formally declare your association with the subject before making any edits to the article, or further participating in any discussions about it. The guidelines I linked to explain how to make that declaration. Girth Summit (blether) 07:22, 31 May 2024 (UTC) reply
