Hello, Sallyjkenney. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Law clerk, you should consider our guidance on Conflicts of interest and take a look at the Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. – S. Rich ( talk) 20:20, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
Sally, you might be able to have your articles cited as WP references, but you should look at WP:SELFCITE. I recommend you first post proposed edits to the article talk pages and declare WP:COI. Then let other editors opine. Feel free to contact me with questions. – S. Rich ( talk) 20:41, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Hi Sallyjkenney! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Please do not introduce links in actual articles to user pages or sandboxes, as you did at Rosalie E. Wahl. Since these pages have not been accepted as articles, user pages, sandboxes and drafts are not suitable for linking in articles. and such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been deleted, please do not re-add any such links, thank you - Arjayay ( talk) 10:47, 5 November 2022 (UTC)

I sent an email with the information, following the notice, and it said I should also post in talk page, which I did. I am starting to see why people are dissuaded from becoming editors and why only 8% of editors are women.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Sallyjkenney ( talk • contribs)

23:06, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Hi Sallyjkenney! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Rosalie E. Wahl that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.
