Here's a rough translation/English equivalent of the intro page to the first interview.
There rest would require more free time than I have right now. I'll try to do some more later this week. Here's a google translation if it's any help. You may also want to try posting at WT:JAPAN and checking out Category:Translators ja-en. You could get a quicker response from someone more experienced at translating. ( Guyinblack25 talk 17:50, 26 November 2008 (UTC))
Hi, FMF. Sorry I've taken so long to help. I'm really not an expert in Japanese, and I think Guyinblack's translations are about as good or better than mine might be. I notice you've been using the google translate function. That's a very good starting point. I think the best way to perform amateur translations involves making multiple translations and cross-referencing them. So to help you, I've got two cross-references robo-translators which you can use to compare them back and forth to see how they are differently translated:
Then I would also try copy&pasting into
BabelFish and using a good dictionary. With that you should be able to translate just about anything. I'm sorry I can't be of any more specific help, but like GuyinBlack said earlier, I need a good few hours in a row to give what I would consider to be a good translation.
As far as your other question about the pink box, I left a note at my talk. What pink box are you talking about? It would help if you were more specific. Cheers. -

Hi! I am Japanese. I translate E to J, but not J to E. I checked the translation above and corrected. But remember, my English is far from perfect.
The first question. ...when the story for F-Zero for the Game Boy... The story→the plan.
The second answer. I was→It was.
The third question. ... but you thought the gameplay would be changed a little and the sense of speed lost, would you start?→Probably the play would be changed and the sense of speed would go down. Didn't think that you'd dare to make the game Boy version, did you?
The third answer. That would not be complete.→I never thought it at all.
The fourth question. That's what I thought, being picky.→Because that you are meticulous? Or because you don't want to settle for anything less?
The fourth answer. ...That is really not F-Zero. The reason for the difference is it becomes a lesser game.→The game would be not F-Zero any more. It would be just another race game. That's the reason (I didn't make the Game Boy version).
Hope my correction will helpful.

Greetings! I would like you and I to work on the F-Zero (series) articles with me. I noticed that you brought F-Zero GX and List of F-Zero media to FA and FL status. So I thunk that if we get F-zero (series) to at least to GA status, we might have a FT with the three articles, F-Zero and F-Zero X. Please give me a yes or no on this plan. GamerPro64 ( talk) 19:19, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Somewhat like that. I think in the midst of our excitement to write an article about a brilliant subject, we tend to forget that there might be many who would not know of the situation or background related to the subject, and focus on the minutae of details. It is our job to help them understand the context and to make them interested to read the article. Hence, it seems important to me to set up the context for why the DSi is an achievement for Nintendo at the start. Jappalang ( talk) 05:46, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello again FullMetal Falcon. Yes, I've subscribed to Game Informer since 2002 (I also have 10 issues from 1999-2000), and I will continue to renew my subscription forever! I don't know exactly what you're looking for, but Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Reference library/Game Informer has a complete listing of the issues I have. - sesu PRIME 18:57, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
I found something else that may or may not actually be useful: GI mentions the F-Zero series in their piece "The Top 10 Sequels In Demand". Okay, so it didn't make the top 10, but it was listed as one of the 28 other series they'd like to see sequels to. It might be a bit too nominal of a shout-out to warrant inclusion in an article, but I thought I'd run it by you anyway and let you decide. Let me know if you want the data for a reference. Cheers! - sesu PRIME 08:32, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Unfortunately I've been unable to locate the original source for Captain Falcon's connection to Kamen Rider, but it's not the only reference Sakurai has let into the Smash Bros series. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl there's the song " Go K.K. Rider!", which is arranged in the style of the original Kamen Rider theme "Let's Go Rider Kick!". The quote "Heroes always arrive late." is another hint at the inspiration for the song. Furthermore, Kamen Rider 1's voice actor from " Kamen Rider SD" ( Hideyuki Tanaka) was hired to do Captain Falcon's voice in the " F-Zero Falcon Densetsu" anime. Also, it's stupid-obvious. 79.136.75.48 ( talk) 16:10, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

F-Zero was released in the early '90s, which will limit my options in searching. I mentioned on Talk:WPVG that I could find mid-late '90s or early-mid '00s material; this is because the Internet hadn't been widely adopted before the mid '90s. However, I'll dig around and see what I can find, and get back to you with it later today or tomorrow. As a side note: would material on the game's sequels or GBA re-release be useful? Why did you revert my change of 08:51, 8 December 2009 (Wii actually supports up to 16 remotes according to the Systems Setup manual) on the Nintendo Wii article? It's quite clearly stated on Page 28 of the Wii 'System Setup' operations manual that came with my new Wii, and although I can't find an electronic copy of this document, there are hints in other documents online (e.g. http://2ksports.com/downloads/new/all/3 , page 4 - 'A Wii console can have up to 16 Wii Remotes synched to it – 10 in Standard Mode and 6 in One Time Mode', and on the official Nintendo website hints at more than 4 as well ( http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/downloads/wiiBalanceBoard.pdf, 'Up to a total of 10 Wii Remotes and accessories can be synchronized to a console at any time with the Standard Mode procedure.') Although the controllers only have 4 lights on them, the console still supports more.

Do you have a connection with this user because they seem to have been making a lot of recent edits in your userspace, and they have a history of doing so. I noticed you created this article in response to the FAC and other comments, but at this point, I think it's ok to gently trim and fold it back into the main DSi page. The whole article is only two paragraphs (albeit very robust in terms of references) and the main DSi page isn't hurting for length. That, or a merge to a new section in Nintendo DS launches might be effective as well. Axem Titanium ( talk) 08:32, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
If you got non-Wikipedia questions, next time try emailing first. Regarding accounts there, if you are not using a public email service (Hotmail, etc), it will take a while to get approved. Maybe you can try to submit your application again. I first submitted it and after 8 or so months they made a note that they had lost all the applications due a software failure, so I resubmitted it again, after another 8 months it didn't get verified, so I resubmitted it once more and in a couple of weeks it was accepted. They accept in batches (2000 or 3000 at a time, for example), not as they arrive, that is why it takes so long. Cheers! -- ReyBrujo ( talk) 14:20, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I first wanted to say thanks for keeping up the list, at times it takes me a few days to check up on the list and revert any changes that are possibly vandalism. I also wanted to ask you if you could figure out why the caption of the new image doesn't seem to work, I've tried it a few different ways but it doesn't seem to work. I wanted the images of the carts to appear down below the main introduction, and to the left of the console picture, but I couldn't figure out how to do that either without making a big blank space below the other image and text. I hope you can figure it out. I've been trying to update it to meet the new concerns of the new featured list discussion, so far I think they're going good, and it's moving away from the titles only and more towards a article that actually have information in it. Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Karanacs ( talk) 17:28, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

My reaction to your edit here: What? First of all, the way you phrased that, "because no article discuss their significance to this game's development" doesn't make full sense. Perhaps you meant "no article discusses". Why does "an article" have to "discuss" those composers' "significance" to this game's development for their names to be in the infobox? I thought that film, TV, and video game infoboxes could be filled with any credits that were in the game. Suppose that no articles at all existed that talked about the significance of John Williams' music in the Star Wars series. Would we not put his name in the "composer" field for the infobox on this article? I seriously believe that composers (and other names) should always be listed in the credit areas of an infobox if they are known. dogman15 ( talk) 05:36, 25 January 2012 (UTC)

Hi, FMF. I've picked up a new Famitsu magazine (#358) and it contains a new review of F-ZERO. This time it's a physical copy so the text is quite legible. Strangely they give it a different score than they gave it in issue #225 which rather worries me about their reliability, but perhaps this is just an example of me misunderstanding their review scores. Whereas the review in issue #225 is a normal "Cross Review" where 4 reviewers give it a score of 1-10 and these are then added for a total out of 40, the review in #358 is a merged review section called "30 Point Plus". As I understand it, this is a summary of previous cross reviews scoring over 30/40, but I'm not sure if they re-score it or if they simply add the old numbers together and in this case they made an arithmetic error. And I'm not sure how you want to handle the score at the article here on Wikipedia. Perhaps WT:VG might be a good place to turn if you need help with that. Anyway the review is a summary so it's quite short (just a few sentences), but if you're interested I can make you a scan. - Thibbs ( talk) 15:31, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

In the DSi article, it's not clear that what's being translated is Japanese—and will be less obvious if the reader doesn't have Japanese fonts installed. {{ nihongo}} should be used when it's already clear from the context that Japanese is being used, especially for cases both a translation and a transliteration, for instance, using Self Defense Force (自衛隊, jieitai) somewhere in an article about the military in Japan.
In the DSi article, not only is it not clear that the Japanese is, in fact, Japanese, but "Nintendo DSi" isn't a translation from the Japanese—it's the official branded English name of the product. Curly Turkey ( gobble) 22:48, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

I do not actually have an opinion about whether DS Download Station should be moved to Nintendo Zone, but the {{ db-move}} tag had been placed on Talk:Nintendo Zone rather than Nintendo Zone itself, so I removed that tag. -- Metropolitan90 (talk) 18:10, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
This is a note to let the main editors of Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on January 23, 2014. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask Bencherlite ( talk · contribs). You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/January 23, 2014. If it needs tweaking, or if it needs rewording to match improvements to the article between now and its main page appearance, please edit it, following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. The blurb as it stands now is below:
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars is a crossover fighting game game featuring characters from Capcom's video game franchises and from various anime series by Tatsunoko Production. The game was released in Japan for arcades and the Wii video game console in December 2008. It was released for the Wii in North America, Japan, and Europe in January 2010, featuring additional characters and an online mode. Players engage in combat with a team of two characters or with a single giant character and attempt to knock out their opponents. It is the seventh Capcom-designed installment in their Vs. fighting game series, which includes the Marvel vs. Capcom and Capcom vs. SNK series, and the first to be fully rendered in 3D graphics. The game is designed around a simplified three-button attack system, which was inspired by the simplistic control schemes commonly used by both the Vs. series and the Wii. The game received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised its approachable gameplay for newcomers and depth for veteran players. However, reviewers had mixed experiences with its online component, and found Arcade mode lacking in replay value. ( Full article...)

hope and mystery
Thank you, WikiSloth who knows Japanese, for quality articles for
project video games such as
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, for a
point for art, for clear user pages quoting "If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving" and "deepen the mystery", - you are an
awesome Wikipedian!
Hey,
I noticed that you have had a run in with Jakandsig as I have. I don't know how closely you have looked at his edits, but he has been disrupting multiple pages, engaging in personal attacks, and refusing to work with other editors. He was already blocked once for edit warring and then launched more personal attacks through sock puppetry during the block. At this point, I think it is time to consider an RFC against him, but that takes two people trying to reason with him on his talk page first. If I were to start taking the steps to get an RFC going, would you mind being second on it? I am happy to do all the actual work, but need that second person posting on the talk page for procedural reasons. Indrian ( talk) 23:39, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
We had met before in the Intellivision talk page about the sales figures. Thanks for contribution to my concerns, I'll now be able to add a lot more history to the page later on. But i have a small question for you.
Now there are a few game systems that seem to not have pages available. How do you create a new page? i figure i would ask someone who has already used Wikipedia instead of fiddling with certain things and ending up with odd results. Ha ha. Edit: Please excuse the auto-correct phone typing. Leeroyhim ( talk) 03:27, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Why were myd edit breaking urls? I edited within the latest revision and just added a couple words at the top of the page. So if I am breaking urls what's causing it to happen only when i add words? I looked before i posted and it looked find to me so i find this really strange. i reverted to the other edits as well instead of mine and it's still breaking urls for some reason. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leeroyhim ( talk • contribs) 21:45, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Yes I see it now. It was not an issue until recently. Maybe I need to update my browser or something. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leeroyhim ( talk • contribs) 22:32, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of million-selling game consoles, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Computer Shopper ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I left a message and I see that you are very active on the article, and I am inviting you to give some input. Thanks. Also, I apologize for originally leaving this message on your old namespace. MrAdaptive343 ( talk) 16:20, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
This is a note to let the main editors of Nintendo DSi know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on April 5, 2014. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at present, please ask Bencherlite ( talk · contribs). You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/April 5, 2014. If it needs tweaking, or if it needs rewording to match improvements to the article between now and its main page appearance, please edit it, following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. The blurb as it stands now is below:
The Nintendo DSi is a dual-screen handheld game console released by Nintendo. It is the third iteration of the Nintendo DS, and its primary market rival is Sony's PlayStation Portable. Development of the DSi began in late 2006, and the handheld was first unveiled during a 2008 Nintendo conference in Tokyo. While the DSi's design is similar to that of the DS Lite, it features two digital cameras and also connects to an online store called the Nintendo DSi Shop. The DSi is approximately 12% shorter than the DS Lite when closed, but it is slightly wider and lighter. The DSi also has a larger RAM and faster CPU. All DS games are compatible with the DSi, except those that require the Game Boy Advance slot. Because of its absence, the DSi is not backward compatible with GBA Game Paks or with accessories that require the GBA slot, such as the DS Rumble Pak and the Guitar Hero: On Tour series guitar grip. The Nintendo DSi received generally positive reviews. Critics praised many of the console's changes to the DS Lite's aesthetics and functionality, but complained that it launched with insufficient exclusive software. A larger version of the DSi, the Nintendo DSi XL, was released in 2009. ( Full article...)
