Hi Rahman.safwan. According to Somalia's Minister of Information, Posts and Telecommunications, the national postal infrastructure in Somalia was completely destroyed in the 1990s, during the civil war. The deal with Emirates Post notwithstanding, residents subsequently had to turn to traditional methods of dispatching parcels and letters. This still seems to be the situation. However, the Somali government recently launched a three-Phase national postal service rehabilitation program spread out over a 10 year period. It has already completed parts of Phase I, which includes reconstruction of the General Post Office (GPO) in the capital Mogadishu, and the appointment of an official Postal Consultant to provide professional advice on the renovations. The Somali authorities apparently plan to officially relaunch the Somali Postal Service itself next year, in 2013 (c.f. [1]). Hope this helps; let me know if you have any other questions. Best regards, Middayexpress ( talk) 17:43, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for your kind information. I have some question 1.is the inland Postal service running there? 2.what about the somal Post corporation? 3.what about the UPU member? Thanks Btw,are you from Somalia? Rahman.safwan ( talk) 17:49, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
thanks for your reply.as per your information,I have contact with UPU regarding Somalia Post.they said that somalia have workable postal system.about the re lounch,I think, re lounch of the international mail.i thought they have inland postal service because,in the source of "Emirates post and somal post corporation" its mentioned that Emirates Post route there mail to Galkacyo and Mogadhishu. So I think, both place have post offices for recieving letters.as the contract signed at 2003,at that time, there must be post office.so I think,at the presentation,he mentioned about the international post. Regards Safwan Rahman.safwan ( talk) 19:49, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
As per the information of UPU website, they gave an address of "Somal Post corporation" at Galkacyo MD. They took the information at 2004.so I think, that time the Postal service was available. I request you to go through by the information of UPU website. Route there mail means only send the letter from abroad to Somalia.it doesn't mean to Deliver at Somalia. The contract was, only route their mail.Emirates post wasn't in charge to deliver. Like,if any country wants to send any mail to Somalia, they send it to Emirates Post.after getting all letters from many country, emirates Post send it to Somalia Post.then Somalia Post deliver it. Like,Bangladesh post also have such contract with Emirates Post. I hope, you would understand.
dear AlanM1, thanks for your kind information.Its my pleasure.btw,dont understand how u cost ? Regards Rahman.safwan ( talk) 18:00, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

I don't really understand why you asked for help on this article at the Philately Project and then undid much of what I did and left the article worse. Philafrenzy ( talk) 21:26, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
Hello, First of all,I didn't undo any edit of you. I just gave more information about the postal authority. You can not add a stamp image at any postal authority's wiki article. I dont understand, why you deleted the category i added? Was the category not appropiate? Also I added " Communications in East Timor" at see also page. But why you deleted it? Was this also not appropiate? About AICEP,why its problem to add the English name? This Association has English name. [1] Why you wants to add the portugese name? After all I would like to say, I think, i didn't make the article worse.you made the article worse.if you would like to discuss more, lets come to talk:Correios De Timor-Leste. So it will be in track. Regards Rahman.safwan ( talk) 07:29, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
I will be glad if you please answer the questions I mentioned above. Rahman.safwan ( talk) 22:05, 21 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi Rahman. Somali Post's import regulations are obviously important since half of its duties involve bringing in letters and parcels into the country. The other half involves sending them. Regards, Middayexpress ( talk) 16:30, 4 May 2013 (UTC)

Hello, why u again and again undid my edits of the mentioned article? was my information wrong or inappropriate? regards Rahman.safwan ( talk) 15:39, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
What commentary? the number of post offices and staffs not necessary for the history of a postal authority? also the article must mentioned that the postal system is yet not been started. so the people can know the real fact. lets discuss this matter at the article's talk page. regards Rahman.safwan ( talk) 16:01, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
no. the number of post office in 1991 is not mentioned also the total postal staff is also not mentioned. it must be the part of history. as you said that, the postal service will lunch in 2013. people thinking that, the postal service is already lunch. so it should be mentioned that, the postal service is yet not been started. lets discuss it in the talk page of the article. regards Rahman.safwan ( talk) 16:12, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
you have just added the number of post offices. why you undid my edits that time? also where is the problem to write that still the postal service is yet not started? regards Rahman.safwan ( talk) 16:27, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
Ok. I have got this. Thanks for taking your time to make me understand. I think, the number of postal staff of 1991 you have written is wrong according to the Magazine of UPU. By the way, can you please write in any easy word that postal service isn't started yet? So that most of the people can understand easily the actual fact. Regards.
