I'm fine with the username change to
User:R Wenger, which is open. However there is another issue here: you have made it clear you are heavily involved with Mapendo and are editing an article about Mapendo. We have rules about users with
conflicts of interest, and organizations especially are really not supposed to create or edit articles on themselves. This is true whether or not the organization is suitable for coverage in Wikipedia, because the goal of Wikipedia is to write neutral and reliable articles about its subjects, whereas it is very hard for an organization to be neutral about itself, and it is easy for them to mistake things they know from verifiable content. If you are to be unblocked you're going to have to read, understand, and agree to abide by our
conflict of interest policy; you may also want to read
the FAQ for businesses/organizations and
the five pillars. If you agree to that, I'm happy to do what I can to develop the article, if you can show me reliable sources about the subject (such as the book and newspaper reports, etc).

I will be happy to read the articles you presented, and will do my best to present fair and unbiased information as specified by wikipedia. Should I post the links to the articles, etc for you to look at on this talk page? Thank you so much for your help and understanding. I really appreciate it. --

Okay. I will unblock to allow you to file a name change request at
WP:CHU, then. The best place to put the links is probably at
Talk:Mapendo, where they will be of use to anyone who can improve the article.

Thank you! My user name was successfully changed, and I added categories to the article, so hopefully that is better. I also created (I think) a new discussion where I posted a lot of links to articles/sites that talk about Mapendo. I changed some of the wording to make it less sensationalist. I can also find more information about refugees if you think that would be helpful. Thanks again. Let me know what else I can do.
Fair use rationale for Image:MapendoLogo.gif
Thanks for uploading or contributing to
Image:MapendoLogo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under
fair use but there is no
explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the
boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found
here.
Please go to
the image description page and edit it to include a
fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at
Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "
my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on
criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the
Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to
opt out of receiving this notice?

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/RefugePoint until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.
