Greetings - I was surprised and gratified to find a Wikipedia article about me, but (1) it is far from complete, (2) contains a couple inaccuracies, and (3) is missing external links (for example, to my publisher/composer organization) and lacks a photo.

Are these elements of the article things that I could PERSONALLY add, expand, and correct? I think I know who initiated the article, but I'm not certain. I'd very much like to refine the article to more accurately reflect my life and life-work in music.

Thanks in advance for your advice. RCWolfe ( talk) 19:08, 8 August 2017 (UTC) reply

Hello RCWolfe, and welcome to Wikipedia! Unfortunately, I am unable to proceed on your edit request because you have not named the article at hand. Too many individuals with the surname "Wolfe" have Wikipedia biographies for me to figure out which one is yours. I am happy to fix inaccuracies if you point them out specifically. If you are challenging a sentence because it is wrong, and lacks a citation to an outside source, the sentence can be easily removed. But if you want new content to be added to your article, it is best to provide a reliable source as a citation for that information.
As for the photo, copyright law makes the situation a little complicated. If you hold the copyright to a photograph of yourself, and are willing to release it under a free license compatible with the CC-BY-SA 3.0, please follow the instructions at commons:OTRS for confirming your image donation. Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions and/or place another edit request template when you have read this message. Altamel ( talk) 22:11, 9 August 2017 (UTC) reply
