Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Roar (song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengals ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thanks for uploading File:Sebextor-tp-2003 99563 zoom.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. -- ImageTaggingBot ( talk) 02:05, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
Haha well, maybe I was a little overly excited when I awarded you that, but I wouldn't take it back. It sure did mean a lot to mean. I am sorry to hear that your efforts have been ignored since then, but I'm sure some day you will be recognized for your contributions. This is actually my first time signing in in well over a year, and I don't plan on being active anymore. However, please do keep up the good work! -- Cprice1000 Talk That Talk to Me 22:05, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

File:Sophie ellis-bextor TOur.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, it is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. As you may know,
VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 100 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to
your preferences and choosing the item, "
MediaWiki:Visualeditor-preference-enable
". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at
Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you,

Hello. Regarding images, I noticed an edit summary on "By the Grace of God" and should mention the following: The reason I removed images in the past is because those were images of people who did not contribute anything to the song. Since Greg Wells contributed (as you included his photo), it is one I would in fact add. Adding images of people who did not contribute is essentially pointless. ![]() | On 8 December 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article By the Grace of God (song), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that one reviewer described Katy Perry's 2013 ballad " By the Grace of God" as having a "humming, dark tension in which Perry and melody float like red balloons"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/By the Grace of God (song). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
Thanks for reverting my reversion and explaining your removing a name from Wikipedia:WikiProject Oregon/Participants#Signed up in 2008. I see now that if I had looked more carefully (e.g., at the redirects of the user pages), I would have realized that you were deleting your own entry and not someone else's. Please know you are always welcome to return to WikiProject Oregon. Cheers! YBG ( talk) 05:36, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
Hello, and thank you! I'm still working on finishing up the critical reception, live performances, and chart performance, but after that I'll move it over to the "Dark Horse" page. In regards to "By the Grace of God" I think that the page could use some expansion since there's tons of information regarding the composition and a few other things, but otherwise it looks like a good article. Personally, I'd recommend taking it off GA nomination and expand on it more, and I'd be plenty willing to help! Just let me know. - (CA)Giacobbe ( talk) 19:02, 17 December 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Bonnie McKee 3.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

Date format was clearly mdy and per WP:DATERET should not be changed. Also, per WP:STRONGNAT should be mdy as the subject and label are both American. As for the copy edits, the too were necessary. Walter Görlitz ( talk) 23:43, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. It's not my way, it's the right way, and since you clearly don't understand the subject of Christian music and should not be writing about it. I'll bring it up with the project and have others fix your poor writing. It's not a GA article. Walter Görlitz ( talk) 23:46, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
