Thanks for uploading File:Replica of Sikorsky's S-16 plane.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
{{
di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 ( talk) 22:27, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
Hi! I see you are requesting adoption and so would like to offer to adopt you. Myself and my replacement/assistant, RexRowan have an adoption school, which can teach you all the basics of Wikipedia. We believe the adoption course is a great beginning to your Wikipedia life and User talk:RexRowan, who has completed the course himself, will happily tell you how useful the course was.
The adoption school contains a series of 10 lessons, each focusing on a different aspect and with a short test at the end of each. The lessons are then followed by a final exam.
Should you be interested in getting adopted, please read this Code of Honour, then return here and press the button below, filling in USERNAME with your username with out the User: prefix. This questionnaire gives me an insight into you and allows me to adjust the course should I need to, so please fill it in.
Also, please drop a line to say you are interested either below this message or on my talk page at User talk:Adam mugliston.
Thanks,
RexRowan Talk 09:31, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page that you created was tagged as a test page and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. GILO A& E⇑ 21:31, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
Hi PatrickCarbone. I notice you've put a "request for adoption" template on your userpage. Given the number of users starting on the encyclopedia each day and the number who look for adoption, there can often be a backlog when just displaying the request. You are much more likely to find an adopter if you are pro-active about it, perhaps asking an editor or two from the list of adopters if they would consider adopting you? Good luck in finding someone to help out. WormTT( talk) 10:02, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
