This is Rockettmeister, from the band Metronomic. I find it highly offensive that you deleted our page on the grounds the band does not assert 'significance'. We may not have a record deal, but we do have a fanbase and have worked extremely hard to make this band what it is.
I strongly request you reverse you decision. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rockettmeister ( talk • contribs) 13:37, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Pascal, can you weigh in on this question at the Reference Desk? It's about terms for drugstores in Canada. Is there a maybe a coloquial term other than "la pharmacie" au Québec? And also, which term do Anglos use? -- Flyguy649 talk contribs 07:17, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Hello my friend, i was about to delete this article my self as i couldn't find any evidence on the net for the skunk pig authenticity which is a human type (capitalist in fact) from the late 50' Russian comics.-- Makoko 09:17, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi there. I'm not sure if there's something underhanded going on, but it looks as though there might be, so I thought I'd bring it to your attention. CuddlyAble3, immediately after the expiry of his latest block for disruptive and uncivil behaviour, seems to have deleted his user page while leaving his talk page up (such as it is; he continues to delete warnings and behavioural reminders). Is this kosher? It looks to me as if he's trying to conceal his behavioural problems, and the warnings he's received for them, from those who encounter his name in signed comments, etc. -- Scheinwerfermann 14:19, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
Mr. Pascal. Tesson, Hello, It has come to my attention that you deleted as spam my entry that I wrote about the Public Radio Talent Quest. Would you kindly take a moment to discuss this action with me, first by restoring the entry so that we can see where exactly the error of my ways actually exist.
I've placed a rebuttal to the deletion of my entry on the article talk page and in my own talk page I question the validity of a non-existant person that targeted my entry for deletion. I went to the supposed talk page of the IP editor who flaged my entry for deletion. As you see through (read) my conversations, and if you really research my 'links' that I provide and all of my thoughts about this entry, my request to have the entry restored is not because I love the material that I've cited, or the site that I've participated in. It is the citation that is important, the information provided is legitimate, at least in my mind it made a perfect encyclopedic entry by stating only the facts. In a world where everyone is selling everything, I understand how everything looks like an advertisement and we are all buyers and sellers. But this was an entry about information, and contributing to this community that information.
Please restore my entry, or share with me, why it needs to be completely rewritten. Thank you for your attention concerning this matter. Please consider the greater good.

Hi, Pascal I think my message was lost in archive, so please let me know what you think.
What if we forget about the theories and hypotheses and start with the facts about sex ratio. For example, please look at the review http://www.geodakian.com/Articles/Articles%20in%20English/Translated%20from%20Russian/1985%20Feedback%20Eng%20transl.doc there are 4 tables that contain organized data to illustrate a relationship (which is in the title):
Table 1 Plants, animals and humans secondary SR (II SR) in relation to tertiary SR
Table 2 Dioecious plants secondary sex ratio (II SR) dependence on the amount of pollen
Table 3 Secondary SR dependence from the intensity of sexual activity (ISA) of males
Table 4 Secondary SR (II SR) dependence from the delayed fertilization of eggs
Each of these relationships can be a small section in the Sex Ratio article. You don't have to mention the interpretation and we can remove harems if you wish (however the data is a data). The Wiki article will look more complete and will provide structure for people to add more data.
P.S. I made 2 new pages: notability and main events. http://www.geodakian.com/en/04_Notability_Citations_en.htm http://www.geodakian.com/en/07_Chronology_&_Milestones_en.htm Sashag 18:48, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I did get your message first time. The approach I proposed is completely different – it’s data-centric. I posted small paragraph under “Examples”. As you may see all the authors cited are well recognized plant biologists. Classical works of Correns can be found in many college text books. None of them are my relatives. Thank you for your participation in my recent RfA. Even though you didn't support my candidacy, I did greatly appreciate your comments, which I will certainly put to good use in improving myself as an editor. I do plan to make another request in a few months, once I have improved upon your concerns. Thank you again, and happy editing! Hersfold ( t/ a/ c) 01:36, 5 September 2007 (UTC) |
I assume you refer to my tagging of Template:Vietnamesename? I'll take it to WP:TfD, but chances are it will get speedied there anyway. It seems fairly obvious that it's a test and/or nonsense with no meaningful content, and it has no transclusions so that was never a concern. Regards. PC78 14:47, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
I noticed you blocked Zlclark ( talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) for a very serious incident on Roger Federer ( | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views). I gave him this warning based on this libelous edit. Did I underestimate the seriousness of this edit, or was there something else that I didn't know about? (I'm just looking for a yes/no answer, not a detailed explanation of his vandalism or a repeat of the libel.) I thought it was just a standard example of vandalism, but if that was something that should have been dealt with and blocked right away for, I should probably know the proper procedures for classifying WP:BLP violations. It's looking like I might become an admin soon, so I should know these things. Thanks. -- Elkman (Elkspeak) 15:17, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

eToro Forex deletion------------------------------------
Hello, Why was the article on eToro forex deleted? eToro Forex is a software, much like other sofwares that exist on wikipedia- the article did not contain a link or a screenshot, nor advertisements of any kind. moreover it is listed as a stand-alone article and has nothing to do with the article about the etoro tribe.
I see no reason why this article should be deleted, if you think something specific was wrong with the article then I will gladly rewrite it so it fits the standarts needed on wikipedia, but deleting the item just because it refers to a company is not reasonable explanation, especially when accusing me of "spamming". please email your reply to etoro.trader@gmail.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by AssiToro ( talk • contribs) 16:35, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
I will review the links you referred me to and rewrite the article in order for it to comply with the wikipedia standarts. believe it or not but I do not benefit anything from publishing this article. I appreciate your help, if you have any other thoughts please let me know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AssiToro ( talk • contribs) 19:32, 10 September 2007 (UTC) Thank you for your help, I rewrote the article and referred to the mentioned wikipedia links. again- no links, screenshots or ads of any kind.
I put the article in the address you specified. Your review will be highly appreciated, please feel free to mention anything that might seem like spam.
Again- thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by AssiToro ( talk • contribs) 12:05, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
IdoTrad is my brother which knows a lot more about computers than me so he tried to help, I asked him not to edit any more articles and leave it to me because of what you wrote. The version you deleted was my 2nd and re-written version that I entered into the location you told me in order for you to specify what exactly was wrong with it. It cited and referred to another 4 wikipedia terms ( forex, day traders, trading rooms, day trading software ) and mentioned the etoro platform only on it's last line - without a link or screenshot. you can hardly call it advertisement or spam, nor say I haven't referred to the proper sources. Right now I have no idea where what I wrote is, it's not on my page but I'd appreciate if you explain to me why was that article deleted when it was posted on my personal page for your review as you requested. awaiting your reply, AssiToro —Preceding unsigned comment added by AssiToro ( talk • contribs) 15:29, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Your message here
Pascal, the crashing bore has ended successfully! Thanks again very much for suggesting that I should consider an RfA and then "gently" pressuring me to do it. I put it up for speedy because it was re-created out of process, as has happened with so many other things regarding these CFDs. The cat was created initially out of process, it was recreated out of process and the Wittgenstein CFD was closed out of process, all by the same editor. So I don't really need to be chastised about it, thanks. Otto4711 15:44, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
I agree the article doesn't deserve a "speedy deletion". I'm still new to Wikipedia, but I authored a previous EXTENSIVE explanation of the genre, yet someone (who obviously had nothing else to do) reverted it to one that quotes NO sources and is grammatically terrible. Are the administrators aware of this problem on Wiki? And -- if you can't have an extensive and concise explanation of what something is and quote sources, wouldn't it just be best to remove it altogether? Mirror Ball
You deleted my awesome Jerry song, I put a lot of time and effort into that for a friend of mine and he never got to see it. Couldn't you just leave it up for a week or so for kicks and giggles? He's always wanted to be on Wikipedia.
A week later and he hasn't stopped his disruption, now borderline harrassing me. Since you handled his behavior in the past according to his talk page and block log, I would like for you to review WP:AN/I to see his most recent disruption. As a side note, he has been blocked once since you last conversed with him for similar disruption. — Moe ε 09:06, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Rlevse for nominating me. I appreciate all the support and constructive criticism offered in my RfA. Please do not hesitate to point out any errors I will make (unintentionally of course), so I won't make them again. Please contact me if you need anything done, that's what I'm here for! |
Yes, you're probably right - I'll try and tone it down a little. To be fair, I can understand (and, to some extent, agree with) the argument that RfA candidates should have some substantial content contributions. Certainly the ideal candidate should have participated actively in article-writing. However, I just feel really sorry for R; he's done so much good work for the encyclopedia, and even if he wouldn't be the perfect admin, he's shown numerous times that he's ready for the tools and would know what to do with them. It looks to me like this RfA, like his previous ones, has become something of a wikipolitical battleground, and I just really wish the community would see sense and give him adminship.
