I haven't forgotten about you..
So here I was, putting a speedy tag on John zalewski and just as VP puts it on, I think I might see in passing something about "recreating a deleted page". Yeah, I did it. It was an accident. Could you RE-delete it and this time I won't re-create it so that you can re-delete it? Sorry about that. - Philippe | Talk 02:00, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Man, why did u delete the who's now article? This isn't advertising. In America, there is a show called sportscenter. They are doing this special segment called Who's now. You can even watch the show for your self. I wasnt trying to advertise. I noticed other sportscenter special segments had an article, so i thought this one (Who's Now) needed one. I was planning to update the article every day. I really don't know why you deleted it dude. I was just trying to help out.
Hey Pascal. Could you restore my user page? Thanks! ~ Wikihermit 16:08, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
Hello. I added my comments to the Camp Hermosa page. I guess I thought I'd get a reply before it actually was deleted. I did the hangon, and made a couple of modifications. I didn't think that it was blatant advertising for the Camp, or spam.
I still want to put something up for the camp. Any thoughts you may have would be helpful. Camphermosa 18:22, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
(... copied over from User talk:Mike Peel.)
I've been thinking this over for the last couple of days, and I've come to the conclusion that requesting adminship would be a good idea - there are some things that it would make easier for me to do (as you say, editing protected templates, etc.), and I can also help out with some of the backlogs requiring an administrator (e.g. speedy deletions, thus adding a bit more variety to what I do here). My concern about deleting unused templates was probably unwarranted; either passing them through WP:TfD, or turning them into redirects where appropriate, are proving to be the best ways of dealing with them.
So, would you be willing to nominate me for adminship? Mike Peel 22:09, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
You were called "the pride of Quebec," a "Bush Nazi," and a "dumbkopf" just because you reverted User:BobbyMeade on Operation Desert Sabre. Here's a link to the article: [1]. Patent nonsense, grumbling, and childishness, if you ask me. bibliomaniac 15 BUY NOW! 02:24, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I'm basically cleaning out most of Category:Professional wrestling free use media partially because the majority of them (but not all) are decription pages for Commons images. Thankyou very much for the offer. -- Oakster Talk 21:29, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Hmmm. I don't really know! Semiprotection is so good for prevention, and yet it blocks off so many options for other people who are genuinely trying to contribute. But I do understand your point. I try not to be too heavy-handed with protections, but you're right in that these articles are reasonably heavily viewed, and therefore heavily edited. I'm not really sure where I stand - a village pump discussion might be good. ~ Riana ⁂ 04:11, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi why do you keep deleting the real information about these band members? Riktam Matkin and D-Ryth? It is tons of work to take care of this. Please help!
You have been making friends haven't you! Thanks again, and if you're going to do noms more often, you're going to have to do better than 14th (is it your special number?) ;). matt br 09:23, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I notice you've twice reverted my attempt at getting Ultimate Play The game speedily deleted. Perhaps you didn't notice the explanation I wrote, but this is a totally unecessary page. It's not linked to from any other articles, and it serves no purpose in any other way - if it didn't exitst and its title were entered verbatim into the search box, the correct article, Ultimate Play The Game, would be displayed directly with no redirection. I'm not going to revert again today because of 3RR, but as one of the maintainers of Ultimate Play The Game I was attempting to clean up uneccesary associated articles. Thanks, Miremare 23:19, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
I recently became aware of the Reed Business Information article and its magazine's articles. I noticed that most were very underdeveloped or flagged as blatant advertising, and I wanted to work to fix them. I have already made some of the pages and I want to make sure they don't sound like advertising, please look at some like Logistics Management and let me know what you think. I would rather write the articles right the first time with admins at my back than not and cause myself undue stress. bnut to get back to my main point, Design News has already been deleted twice (once by you) and I was just making sure I had some approval before I started it again. Would it be ok if I made a basic layout like the one I made for Logistics Management? i really appreciate feedback either way. Sean Montgomery 21:55, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Pascal, I think you're getting the wrong idea about my writing skills. I'm sure I could perfectly explain a block or deletion because I'm a native English speaker. I disagree, and I quote
"A Wikipedia article, page, category, redirect or image created for the sole purpose of disparaging its subject is an attack page. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, these pages are subject to being deleted by any administrator at any time. Non-administrative users who find such pages should add the db-attack tag upon encountering them and the user who created them warned with"
He made this catagory as part of his continued attack on me. If you go to my discussion page you will see he has been disrespectful, rude and sarcastic and now this. I repeatedly asked him to stop messaging me in this way and he is still messaging me anyway. This is nothing more than an attack by Darren on me. --EdWood 16:25, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for starting the checkuser, however I think the net was cast too wide, I only thought that these four were related because they all sign two dashes and not using the tildes, [2], [3], [4], [5]. Danzero and Theperfectone were involved in the first AfD and did not seem related to EdWood. Darrenhusted 09:08, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
Hi. You deleted this redirect recently, but per the GFDL it needs to remain as the info has been merged to another article. For more details have a look at WP:MERGE and WP:RFD. I can't track down a template to place on the talk page, but I'll keep looking. Steve block Talk 10:48, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
All pictures which deal with the science of the Book of Mormon like Image:Lands of the Book of Mormon.jpg are indeed fair use because they are of comparable educational value. The Gospel pictures like Image:Christ in America.jpg explain important LDS doctrine. So they are also of comparable educational value. Daniel3 18:39, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
All this images have an educational value and qualify for fair use! I think you have more problems with the Mormons. Daniel3 19:10, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
The images are used for Family Home Evening and I think this explains everything. Everybody is allowed to use them. This is the Gospel Art Picture Kit. Daniel3 19:29, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
You forgot to mention this: [6] Notwithstanding the foregoing, we reserve sole discretion and right to deny, revoke, or limit use of this site, including reproduction. It is not our responsibility, however, to determine what "Fair Use" means for persons wishing to use materials from this site. That remains wholly a responsibility of the user. On Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/carlossuarez46, you mentioned that people should "...remind [me] also that many many editors have asked him to discuss this on WT:RFA rather than paste that sentence in every self-nom." I should point out to you that I did indeed attempt to discuss it there, and I was ignored. Not having yet been convinced that I am in error, I continue to do as I have.
Furthermore, one should only assume good faith in the absence of evidence to the contrary. It is my position that self-nominating oneself for adminship is evidence to the contrary. I am contributing very constructively, by doing my part to try and stop what I see as a dangerous slippery slope. Kurt Weber 23:22, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your kind words in my successful RfA. I appreciate the trust the WP community has in me. I took your advice; given the post above that seems to have been the prudent course. Carlossuarez46 22:37, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello. You have had previous experience dealing with problematic image uploads from Mattythewhite ( talk · contribs) back in June 2007. This is just to notify you that since then, Mattythewhite has uploaded a large number of images with {{ pd-self}} or {{ cc-by-2.0}} tags: image uploads. I am working through them now, but it appears at first glance that these images may all be inaccurately tagged. I have already identified three copyright violations: Image:Michael chopra.jpg ( source), Image:Fry wenger.jpg ( source) , and Image:Stephen mcphee.jpg ( source). I'll continue working through the images, but given the scale of the problem, attention from an administrator may be necessary. -- Muchness 18:07, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
You suspended this user for a week in June. Vandalism has continued - most recently on the Douglas Mawson page. I have removed the vandalism but given the long history of vandalism from this username would encourage you to re-suspend this username. Unfortunately I do not have the power to be anything other than a tattle! ROxBo 11:14, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
User:SqueakBox has been at it again, by sneeking around and removing from articles the category, then getting it speedily removed without an XFD (you suggested an XFD last time he did it). Please look into it, if the community did not sanction the delete, I will have to recreate the cat. Also I took it to ANI Thanks Taprobanus 15:41, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Dear Pascal.Tesson, I only recently learned that last March you deleted an entry that I wrote under the heading "Enerceuticals." I understand that I can ask you for the reasons and to possibly clarify some of your concerns. I would appreciate learning more abbout the delete option and whether the article still exists somewhere within Wikipedia. Kind regards, W. John Martin, MD, PhD.
Could you do me a favor and close Balck history in Puerto Rico as a Speedy Keep? The reason is that the parties involved have reached an argreement in regard to merge and rename in a friendly manner. I would do it, but I don't want to mess up. Thank you, Tony the Marine 02:21, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Pascal, I dont thingyou really should have speedied that in the middle of the AfD when it was similar to the others, and the others were being defended. G11 is for articles that cant be fixed, and A7 for those that make no claim to N. If there is any claim to N, or any chance of fixing, the place to decide is AfD. What it looks like, is that you got a little impatient, and I dont blame you either with that string of dubious articles. Butlet the afd play out--if you are right, the consensus will agree with you, & it will go. DGG ( talk) 06:50, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok cites a number of awards, including "The Best of the Best and Top 50 Asia Hotels, Conde Nast Traveler (USA)", and "One of the Top 100 Hotels Worldwide and Top 20 Hotels in Asia, Travel + Leisure (USA)" You closed discussion before anyone had a chance to mention that--and it completely negates A7--a claim of awards from an internationally known publication is a bona fide claim to notability. Agreed, the distinctiveness of their awards might be debatable--and so it would be appropriate to have it debated. Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai " largest deluxe hotel in Shanghai and the largest of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts' 48 properties." -- 10 awards. All the more so in this case, "largest" has often been accepted as notable, & the awards include 2 from Conde Nast. DGG ( talk) 20:10, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Just in case you missed it, I thought you might want to know that the essay you speedied after its author nominated it, was being actively discussed at Wikipedia talk:Don't template the regulars and Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Giggy. I'm not sure what is the right thing to do in cases like this, but I'm glad I made sure the main discussion took place on Wikipedia talk:Don't template the regulars. The discussions at Wikipedia talk:Template the regulars weren't that important I don't think - though you could check if you wanted to! And now I have to try and work out what to say at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Don't template the regulars! What a mess. Carcharoth 23:13, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Hey Pascal, looking at this article List of banks in Singapore and again it is another Singapore list which needs to go, but how to go about it? The fanboi force is strong with any of the Singapore articles. How would you go about such a thing? Advice welcome. Cheers. -- Russavia 23:34, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
Re. copyvio at KLMK. The part beginning with "Glavnoye Razvedivatel'noye ..." and the paragraph beginning with "The camo is made of a two-colour pattern ..." seems to be copied directly from the mentioned site.
