Panyd, may I make a request? Can you please hold off selecting pictures for upcoming prep sets until you're ready to start filling them? One of the fun parts of building sets is to select that lead, pictured hook, and you've currently got the last three leads locked up while still working on filling the first set. Thanks. Hi Panyd, I've just done the review of you DYK nomination for Pearlin Jean - what a fascinating little article! When I was doing the review I found that the first two books you have used as references are actually available online, hence me not having to use the AGF tick. I didn't like to just go in and amend the refs to include the online version as the page numbers appear to be the same for the Henderson book but at a quick glance not for the Lang reference. Maybe you would like to have a look yourself? They are here [2] and here [3]. Sorry, I don't mean to be cheeky and hope this doesn't read that way, it's always so difficult to try and convey the right message when just typing into a computer! Thanks. I just unblocked them to allow a username change. I defer to your administrative judgement on the original block, but speaking for myself I wouldn't have blocked it on sight, not without any edits to suggest whether or not they intended to edit promotionally (people do pick names that sound corporate or whatever not because they're editing on those entities' behalf but, sometimes, because they want to make ironic or playful use of them). Hi Panyd. I am an OTRS agent, but I took a break in June, intended to be short, but turned out to be longer. In the meantime, there's new software, and I've managed to forget some stuff, so apologies if this sounds like a newbie question.
There is an FA review of an article, using File:Gordon Highlander steam locomotive.jpg this image. There is no OTRS ticket on the image, so I was asked to look into it.
I see the permission statement at 2012100510006185, but you closed that with the notation "Already been done".
I would like to process the permission - but I wondered if there is something I'm not understanding.-- SPhilbrick (Talk) 14:06, 14 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello Panyd the edits I have made is based on archived material on Vic Tandy (Who I Knew) held by the Warwick and Leamington Magic Society. The information was taken from their (bulletin no 57) I left out the cause of death out of respect for his family. Vic was interested in traditional conjuring used by stage magicians. He felt it helped him with his research.
Panyd Comments:-
My response to your comments:-
Warwick and Leamington Magic Society. is not a minor organisation. And neither is the Coventry Magic Circle which he also frequented.
No I think you would rather the it not be known that Vic Tandy was sceptical of the paranormal and more a debunker than a researcher.
The information I supplied is verifiable by the organisations mentioned.
Panyd, due to your personal experiences in matters of this nature, I'd like to get your opinion on a particular user who may, or may not, be ill. The user's name is the word "Lonely" and then the word "Laura", put together with no spaces, and I'm specifically not typing the actual name because the current notifications system tells one whenever one's username has been mentioned -- and if the user actually is ill, then she might find it unpleasant to learn that she is being discussed.
So, from her userpage and her edits to articles such as Mazikeen, do you think that this user is ill? And if so, do you think that she should be blocked from further editing for her own good? DS ( talk) 23:57, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

Good Day,
One of the sources I use on Wikipedia is the list of PM software: /info/en/?search=List_of_project_management_software
I found it very useful when I have to give recommendations to our clients and I used it over the years. But going though it another day I noticed that 5pm is not on the list, and it has been there for years now. I looked into it and it looks like you deleted it: /info/en/?search=5pm
As I understand, a discredited editor added some edits to it in the near past. Is that was causes an existing article on Wikipedia to be deleted?
The article on 5pm was not created by the person you mentioned. In fact, according to Wikipedia, this article was there at least since 2006 (which makes sense since 5pm has been around for some time).
Since the discredited person made edits to an existing established article, does it make sense to just revert the changes that person made? And then give the possibility to others to edit the article according to Wikipedia standards (It looks like the article needed improvements).
Could you please take another look at it? Thank you for your time.

Check the talk-page for this article where I have commented. You seem to have added some text a few years ago about one of Bem and Honorton's papers "was ill-conceived and ignored basic rules of mathematics", but this was not in the sources that you cited, and I can't find any other references that use these words. This came to my attention from this blog post [6], the person commenting there is a banned Wikipedia user who has a history of promoting pseudoscience, he watches over all the paranormal and parapsychology articles daily and tries to find errors, he then likes to write libel on various blogs and forums about Wikipedia, but in this case he is correct, an error or mistake had been made. This is not a major issue because it's well known that Bem and Honorton's meta-analysis did contain errors (see Ray Hyman and Richard Wiseman's papers) but the references you used were wrong. I am guessing it was a mistake, the problem is that the mistake was left on Honorton's article for over two years. I have corrected it. Regards. Goblin Face ( talk) 02:21, 8 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi Panyd, I know you're asleep, but since you promoted this one, I'm reporting the situation to you. 2014 Jefferson County Public Schools protests is currently on the Main Page. It was reported at Main Page/Errors because the link was to a redirect. I also discovered the hook said "currently" on no evidence; the article was a month stale when it was passed and the reviewer missed that as well as the redirect. The full story turns out to be:
I've given DYK credit templates to Mishae, Lightbreather and Baffle gab1978. I'm not sure if there's anywhere else those credits should be added for recordkeeping - possibly only if it breaks 5,000 views and merits adding to DYKSTATS, possibly the talk page of the nomination template should be created and a note made there. I've dropped a note to Jinkinson asking whether they forgot they'd nominated it, and to Babba Q about the need to check history and about the hook problem. I don't know whether anything else needs to be done or whether you'll want to add or change anything, but that's the picture right now. Yngvadottir ( talk) 06:20, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
