Hi, Pantherarosa. I've responded to your concerns about the proper name of SAVAK on my talk page. ♠ SG →Talk 01:07, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your comments. As you have pointed out, this is only a matter of pronounciation. In this case, I suggest the correct Dari pronounciation "Sipahbūd" and "Sipahsālār" ... not that the "i" is a short one, not a long "ī".
"Sipahsālār" is also the way the Encyclopaedia Iranica and Encyclopaedia of Islam use.

Actually i regret not making it sepahbod but its too late now, changing my username would be seen as sockpuppetry perhaps. But are you absolutely sure the old persian is spelled sepah and not spah? -- Spahbod 18:56, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

You must have had the wrong licensing tag on it, as it had a speedy I3 tag. See: I3 deletion criteria. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 23:35, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Can you translate this? Maybe something useful for various religion articles:

Hello. I have no idea why I removed Image:Fazlollah zahedi.jpg. It must have seemed like a good idea at the time, although I can't think why that would be. Anyway, I think it's fixed now. Thanks for letting me know! Angus McLellan (Talk) 23:10, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello Pantherarosa! Thank you for your contributions. I am a
bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an
Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The
biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure
verifiability, all biographies should be based on
reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current
759 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{
unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

I noticed that you have had edits reverted in the Zahedi and 1953 coup articles. Article associated with Mosaddeq are carefully guarded by a rather aggressive editor(s) with a rather narrow POV on recent Iranian history. I'm trying to make the 1953 article more balanced, more accurate, better written but it's a long process involving WP:RfC and other processes. I don't think it's imporssible to change the article but yuou have to be patient. Cheers BoogaLouie ( talk) 20:43, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
I'm notifying contributors to the 1953 Iranian coup article about a proposed change in the article posted on the talk page, that adds information about events leading up to the coup. Only a couple of comments so far. Am planning to request comments WP:RfC later. -- BoogaLouie ( talk) 23:51, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
