Hello, this is a message from
an automated bot. A tag has been placed on
Doctor Hanamaru, by
Discospinster (
talk ·
contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be
speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because
Doctor Hanamaru is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see
Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting
Doctor Hanamaru, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at
WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the
bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --

Please do not create any more stubs if all the information you can provide anything more then that it is a manga, who it is written by and a list of character. These types of stubs are undesirable. (ex. Alabaster (manga), The Adventure of Rock) -- Farix ( Talk) 20:39, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
(deindent) It has nothing to do with spoilers, but the tone you use and trying to bring in as much external information that is available. Essentially, you are summarizing the plot from the point of view of a reader. While not the best example because of progressive changes by other editors, you can look at the "Setting" and "Characters" sections of Maburaho. -- Farix ( Talk) 23:15, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Image:Gringo-1.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a
claim of fair use. However, the image is currently
orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed.
You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see
our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:19, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

It should be moved to Astro Boy (character), see this section, if you may comment there that'd be great. You may also want to include the information from this past article to Astro's before the history is lost in the supposed move. Just a thought. Lord Sesshomaru
I will be glad to help you out with Metropolis. [1] I just need to know what to do. -- JDitto 01:54, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
The animanga infobox is not needed, see here. Also, it's not about "taking [Tezuka] out of the picture" but information solely about him (filmography and article) should be in his article. Furthermore, the "See also" section doesn't help much when the tezuka article is linked in the main body and the List of Osamu Tezuka anime is just a clone of Category:Osamu Tezuka anime. I'm helping the Tezuka articles, Man. Isn't that what you wanted?-- Nohansen 22:48, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
So, we cool?-- Nohansen 01:54, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
By the way, what was done to the Metropolis article that was uncalled for?-- Nohansen 13:56, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Now you see how you added me? It's no problem but, next time, be more careful. And don't go threating with taking it up with the administrators... that's not nice, especially when it wasn't my doing.
It's all in good faith, Man. We're just trying to help.-- Nohansen 14:16, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Do you have both parts of Osamu Tezuka's Nextworld manga? I only have part one, but I need some people to create the article. If you don't have them, I'll fill in part one for now. Thank you. Boso 16:51, 25 August 2007
I fixed some WP:OCAT problems in Category:Osamu Tezuka. I also created the NOGALLERY Category:Osamu Tezuka media. So whenever you upload an image or audio clip belonging to an Osamu Tezuka article, you can add it to this (and only this) new category.
I think it looks better now. Don't you?-- Nohansen 17:31, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Crime And Punishment-1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 23:22, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

I have nominated List of Megami Tensei monsters, bosses, and creatures, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Megami Tensei monsters, bosses, and creatures. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Hi, OtakuMan. I see that you've been adding Category:2008 in British television, Category:2007 in British television, and so forth to articles for ongoing series. I don't quite understand the purpose of this. I can imagine that these categories might be useful for one-off programmes or series that run for only a year or two, but for something like Doctor Who it would result in 31 categories being added to the article ("1963 in British television" to "1989 in British television", then "1996 in British television", then "2005 in British television" through "2008 in British television"... and possibly "2009 in British television" and "2010 in British television" too, because the BBC has announced their Doctor Who plans through 2010).
I couldn't find a description of the purpose of these categories. Can you explain them to me? — Josiah Rowe ( talk • contribs) 05:52, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Dear WikiProject Video games member,
You are receiving this message because you have either Category:WikiProject Video games members or {{ User WPVG}} somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.
The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.
All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
Greetings, this category would be far better done as an article List of monsters in Castlevania. That way this very minor "category" won't pop up on dozens of major mythology/folklore articles. The cat is proposed for deletion, and you can discuss the proposal here. MatthewVanitas ( talk) 17:08, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page
List of Castlevania monsters and bosses has been reverted.
Your edit
here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our
external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s):
http://castlevania.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Castlevania_IV_Bestiary (matching the
regex rule \bwikia\.com\b). If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external
Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see
'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an
external link that does comply with our
policies and
guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to
undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's
external links guideline for more information, and consult my
list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see
my FAQ page. Thanks! --

I have nominated List of monsters, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of monsters. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ZXCVBNM ( TALK) 23:35, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Karl Roelofs' Zojoi Profile Picture.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
{{
di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 ( talk) 21:14, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Black Kite ( talk) 10:16, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dave Marsh (game developer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Marsh ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thanks for uploading File:Profile Picture of Karl Roelofs from Zojoi Website.jpg, which you've sourced to http://www.zojoi.com/whoweare.htm. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{ non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 23:53, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Hello OtakuMan. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled " David Marsh (game developer)".
The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply {{db-afc}}
or {{db-g13}}
code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia
mainspace.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/David Marsh (game developer)}}
, paste it in the edit box at
this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot ( talk) 19:01, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
The article Acetylene Lamp has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.
