Hello. I noticed you just closed the AfD as "no consensus", saying that there was no consensus for a merge, but I beg to differ, because IMHO one "delete or merge", one "merge or redirect" and one "keep or merge" is a clear consensus in favor of merge. Thomas.W talk 10:49, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
Technically, if an AfD is up for over a week and supported by two users (including the nom) and opposed by no one, isn't the standard coa to delete?
If I thought my proposal would be as utterly uncontroversial as it has been (virtually every user who has ever edited the pages has been inactive for years) I would have just PRODed.
126.0.96.220 ( talk) 11:16, 16 June 2014 (UTC)
WP:SK doesn't apply to TfDs as it declares itself an AfD guideline. Therefor, a withdrawn nomination where the nominator didn't propose deletion in the first place, with multiple snow and speedy keeps where the nomination was an obviously frivolous or vexatious nomination and the only three delete votes (one of which was a weak delete) were on the basis of I just don't like it, and of which was closed within two days of being open and was in the wrong forum for what the nominator wanted to do (it was an edit request)... I do believe this defines a speedy keep. — {{U| Technical 13}} ( e • t • c) 00:28, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of chocolate-covered foods, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nut ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I have nominated the above page for deletion. How can it possibly work? Martin Hogbin ( talk) 17:48, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
It is obviously impossible to list all the restaurants in London so how do we decide who gets a listing here? IT is obviously of great commercial value to get a listing here and there will be nothing but fights over entries. I note that there is no List of restaurants in New York or List of restaurants in Paris. Martin Hogbin ( talk) 18:07, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
N.b. - The result of the AfD discussion for List of restaurants in London was: "keep. WP:SNOW. As noted by all commenters, the list satisfies guidelines. It is standard practice to limit such lists to only entries that have or merit articles, and whatever susceptibility the list might have to promotional edits is not cause for deletion." NorthAmerica 1000 03:35, 23 June 2014 (UTC)
Hello, my old friend. :) So, obviously we have to cook these at home to see. America's Test Kitchen says just toss dried, uncooked fries into cold oil and bring upto heat and don't stop till they're done. Second, "purveyance", I had to look up. Maybe popularity. Third, the article's talk post needs your input. Fourth, there is no fourth.....I'll make one....oh yeah, I'm growing fresh turmeric. Lots of leaves. Don't know if the roots are bigger. Will dig and make Thai curry soon if enough Best, Anna Frodesiak ( talk) 13:06, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
Ah, here's a good fourth: Considering your List of twice-baked foods and the thrice damaged bacon thing and these fries and who knows what else, might there be an article or list somewhere to be made? Maybe a new title for List of twice-baked foods like List of mutiply-baked or otherwise cooked or fussed-over dishes, beverages, or snaky things? Anna Frodesiak ( talk) 13:13, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

You have upset me with performing a non-admin closure here. "No consensus" closures should only be performed when there is substantive debate. Clearly, that wasn't the case here. Questions have been left unanswered and some opinions were unclear. This discussion should have clearly been re-listed. I would do it myself, but I usually hate reverting others' edits. I would be grateful if you could revert your closure and relist it yourself. Thank you, Feed back ☎ 23:17, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi!, how are you? I'm writing you because after weeks, there is only one vote in favor of deletion of this article. Can we close the matter already? I've reverted your non-admin close because just because I don't literally say "not-notable" in my deletion reason isn't a valid reason to speedy close something tha wasn't open for more than 24 hours.— Ryūlóng ( 琉竜) 08:24, 5 July 2014 (UTC)

I note that you have edited both of these list articles. Do you see any value in keeping both? The Asian cuisine list article is in a poor state with little information other than unsourced opinion, and is cluttered with too many images, and red links. My feeling is that there is little content to be saved in Asian cuisine, and that it might be more useful to redirect the title to List of Asian cuisines. SilkTork ✔Tea time 18:35, 15 July 2014 (UTC)
