{{ helpme}} I'd like to create a template containing links to all 101 Messier objects, like the one in the French wiki (at the bottom of the page), but I'm having problems with the code. I'm trying to follow the format, but all I get is a line of text.
Here's the code I'm working on (it doesn't look like much, but a whole lot of other attempts have been tossed out for not working):
{{Navbox | name = Messier Objects | color = #ccf | state = uncollapsed | title1 = Messier Objects | body1 = M1 | M2 | M3 |
Thanks!

Well, that made me smile. :D Thanks for that, and thanks for the idea and adding the template to articles. I'm glad you've found something that you like working on. If I can be of any more assistance, please don't hesitate to let me know. Cheers, – wodup – 05:29, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
I have noticed that you have been adding the [[Category:Astronomers]] to bio articles. Please refrain from adding it as it is a supercategory and the relevant subcategories are already in those pages. Please see Wikipedia:Categorization for further information. The introduction of an article should contain the most basic and easy-to-understand material about the topic. It should not assume that the reader knows a bunch of technical terms. A layperson coming to Wikipedia for information about mesons is likely to find the current article unhelpful because there's nothing here that's basic enough to be understood without spending all day studying particle physics. If the article on electrons can do it, then so can this one. A Wiki article isn't just a dumping ground for information; like all non-fiction, it's a teaching device, and it must keep in mind the needs of its likely audience. As it is, the article is written as if it assumes that the reader is already highly knowledgeable in physics but just happens to be totally ignorant about mesons. Since I'm not by any means a scientist, I'm unqualified to tamper with this article. But basic information would be far more helpful to the layman than technical stats about spin, hadrons and C-parity. Where would you find a meson? How big is it? What does it do? Why does it matter? Simple questions like these should be answered in simple English before getting into the jargon. Then the readers have a simple base from which to learn the technical stuff in the rest of the article, if they so choose. Nine9s ( talk) 06:49, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
