A tag has been placed on Elizabeth Chan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{ hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Tikiwont 09:07, 2 October 2007 (UTC) reply

Danny Lee → Danny Lee Sau Yin

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that recently you carried out a copy and paste page move from Danny Lee. Please do not move articles by copying and pasting them because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. -- Paul Erik 23:23, 6 October 2007 (UTC) reply

A further note after reviewing the situation: Sorry, but I am going to have to undo the edits you made, to ensure that proper attribution has been made for the article on the Hong Kong actor Danny Lee. Also, since he is commonly known by that name, his article should be at that namespace. If you think there should be an article about your Danny Lee, please create it at Danny Lee (American actor). Let me know if you have any questions. Happy editing, -- Paul Erik 23:32, 6 October 2007 (UTC) reply
And just one more note... It appears that you copied much of the info right from here. Wikipedia is very careful about copyright, so we can't really do that sort of copy-and-pasting from other websites. Anyway, I do hope that all this does not turn you off from contributing to the encyclopedia! Cheers, -- Paul Erik 18:56, 7 October 2007 (UTC) reply

The file File:Chickiesm.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned personal image, no foreseeable use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
