Hi Uli. I really like them. The Chauvet piece is nice and melodic, a chorale with words or something. I like the way each part has its own character through the organ stops used. What is the improvisation in the style of? I almost imagine a grand circus when listening to it. And even though the melody of the Carillon de Westminster is a bit different to the original chimes, it's still a beautiful and atmospheric work. I signed up to TUSC so I could more easily transfer files between En.wp and the Wikimedia Commons. I don't have any other privileges there that I know of.
To add files to the English Wikipedia, you do it like so:
add {tl|multi-listen start}} and {{multi-listen end}} if necessary; then in the middle of that, type {{multi-listen item|filename=<file>|title=<Title>|description=Performed by Ulrich Metzner/other details about the performance|format=[[Ogg]]}}
Sounds good. I'm looking forward to hearing them. I'm doing fine here ... the weather in Perth is very strange at the moment, as last week was 30 degrees or so and this week is about 20 degrees. Snow is very rare in Perth, unfortunately. Graham8700:00, 27 October 2008 (UTC)reply
Fitzwilliam Virginal Book

Hello Thewizzy,
thank you so much for your positive reply. Please give me some time, as I have to find some other pieces. It is perhaps about twenty years back and I played these music in a number of concerts with a group called "spectaculum musicale": I hope I can find some more harpsichord pieces.
We arranged about three or four programs a year. As I remember we had a program type with music of the english golden era round 1600 under the reign of Elizabeth I.
I will try to find some pieces. I played two different harpsichords: both of Neupert ( Bamberg )
the first one ( Ruckers type ) had two manuals with two 8foot and 4foot plus Lautenzug.
The second one was a Neupert copy of portugiese type made from Cedar wood sounding very fine.
