This is a HUGE article. However, it is interesting that some of the content in here could be relocated to the British invasion article. Perhaps you could work on the two together? A lot of what you would have to do here is to get rid of content and focus the article. This would be excellent to do, but we'd have to talk about strategies for working it.

Etherfire: In your professional opinion, which articles would you recommend I work on? I was wondering if it would be a better choice to work on the Folk Rock/British invasion considering how they are linked or if it would be more beneficial to do Rock music in Mexico/British Invasion as both articles need a lot of work.
