Hi there, thanks for creating the Sam Broughton article. Please be advised that biographies of living people must be referenced. Please review Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Schwede 66 07:45, 13 January 2020 (UTC)
Howdy hello! I wanted to let you know that I have just turned Sam Broughton into a redirect. I'm afraid that most local mayors do not meet our requirements for notability, i.e. aren't well enough written about to have a standalone article. I know it feels bad to have your work undone, so please ask on my talk page if you have any further questions. If you can find 3 more reliable and independent sources that show significant coverage of the subject, please post them on my talk page and I will reconsider the notability of the subject. Smooth sailing, Captain Eek Edits Ho Cap'n! ⚓ 19:25, 13 January 2020 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Catholic Bishops of Aotearoa New Zealand requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 02:02, 23 March 2020 (UTC)
An article you recently created,
Malvern Hills, New Zealand, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from
reliable,
independent sources. (
?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to
draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's
general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Choir and Orchestra is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament Choir and Orchestra until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Ajf773 ( talk) 08:04, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
There seems to be a recurring issue with you adding unreferenced content, and even unreferenced articles. That is a serious issue and it has to stop. Consider yourself warned. Wikipedia has just three core content policies, and verifiability is one of those. I recommend you give that page a read.
If you can't be bothered to add references, Wikipedia isn't the right hobby for you and you need to look for something else. If you carry on like this, you will soon see yourself blocked. If you need help with figuring out how to do something, please ask. Here's good. Schwede 66 07:42, 1 August 2020 (UTC)
Hello, Lord A.Nelson. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, " Malvern Hills".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia
mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian ( talk) 22:00, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{
Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the
guidance on discretionary sanctions and the
Arbitration Committee's decision
here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.
Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.
Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede 66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Charles III. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Note MOS:POSS. DrKay ( talk) 05:17, 5 July 2024 (UTC)
