Welcome Llavigne,
You have done a good job so far in Wikipedia (WP). I can see that you're a serious Wikipedian interested in improving our project. If you stay for a while, you'll discovered that collectively, we're a cooperative and friendly community. We are all here to learn, and hopefully can give something back. If you have questions or doubts of any sort, do not hesitate to post them on the Village Pump, somebody will respond ASAP. Other helpful pages include:
Just keep in mind that while relevant discussions and constructive criticisms and are welcome, unproductive and/or destructive insults are not (see Wikiquette & Wikipedia:Neutral point of view).
Who knows? Perhaps you'll soon become a

Hi Llavigne. I read your edit of CRM where you said that the use of cookies in CRM is not an ethical concern. I don't understand that comment. Are you claiming that cookies are not being used in CRM, or that people do not care that they are being used? mydogategodshat 01:33, 16 Nov 2003 (UTC)

Hey Llavigne. Just wanted to congratulate you on all the work you put into this article.
My own small addition came about after having gone to see the movie Hero. I thought the movie was rather mediocre but I was impressed by the cinematography and some of the filming locations. In particular I wanted to find out the name of the lake shown in the film. So after doing some searching on the net I found the answer and went and added that information to Wikipedia.
I'm curious as to whether you've visited the park yourself. I guess maybe you have and that gave you the enthusiasm to add so much information to the article. Anyway, congrats again on such a major contribution.

Llavigne,
The speculation/hedging/arbitrage distinction was just a mechanical merge from Speculator. A quick run through Google suggests that that three-way distinction is in common use, but I don't have an authoritative source on it. The content merged came from this anon. — mendel ☎ 21:15, Dec 21, 2004 (UTC)

Bonjour, Llavigne. Comment vas-tu? C'est Benoit Rheault, du Montreal Wikipedia Meetup Group. Je te rappelle le prochain Meetup. Tu n'as pas confirmé encore ta présence ou ton absence. Alors, peut-on compter sur toi? Merci. -- Liberlogos 06:54, 3 May 2005 (UTC)
Great work on your article on the Quartier international de Montréal! I'm in the QIM just about every day of the week, and your article filled in a number of holes in my knowledge. Grstain 13:52, May 10, 2005 (UTC)
Bonjour, Llavigne. -- Liberlogos 05:48, 11 Jun 2005 (UTC)
I noted that as part of some large editing you removed information about the FLQ terrorist bombing of the Stock Exchange. As I'm certain this was an accidental deletion, I reinserted it for you. Thank you. A. Lafontaine 18:44, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Llavigne. Merci. -- Liberlogos 23:39, 3 September 2005 (UTC)
Excellent work reorganising Trust disambiguation. Very good idea. (I'm user:AndyJones but I'm not logged in.)
There was no publication of manga Chibi Maruko-chan between 1997 and 2002, i.e. volume 15 of Chibi Maruko-chan was a "one-time release" in 2003. ADS190 13:37, 10 October 2005 (UTC)
Great work on this article. We have a great shortage of people who can write well about business and finance issues. - SimonP 03:27, 20 October 2005 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Charles Sobhraj in France.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude ( talk) 07:24, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello, Llavigne,
You are invited meet with your fellow Wikipedians by attending the Montréal meetup scheduled on Sunday, June 27, 2010; between 1500 - 1700 to be held at the Comité Social Centre Sud (CSCS), located at 1710 Beaudry, in Montréal. You can sign up at the meetup page.
The meetup is happening in concurrence with RoCoCo 2010, a free, bilingual, weekend unconference including many people involved with Wikis both within the Wikipedia/Wikimedia Community and abroad. You do not need to attend the conference to sign up for the Wikimeetup, but you are certainly welcome! Bastique ☎ call me!
(PS: Please share this with those you know who might not be on the delivery list, i.e. Users in Montreal/Quebec)

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (
consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot ( talk) 18:43, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
