Why did you revert my edits to your friends list? -- GeorgeMoney T· C 02:03, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
I really don't mean to be badgering you about your signature, but I think you might have missed the question I asked you back here. By the way, you've been doing a great job since your RfA. I'm glad you didn't let it get you down. -- TantalumTelluride 03:24, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
You know... images are still allowed. WP:SIG is a guideline, not a policy. -- GeorgeMoney T· C 04:15, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi Linuxerist, please stop using your signature for making a point. If you think images should be allowed in sigs, discuss that in the appropriate places, your signature is not the place for policy discussions! Kind regards, -- Joanne B 18:38, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
What happened? I decided to not leave. -- GeorgeMoney T· C 04:03, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
I am having trouble with my signature! I tried to follow the instructions in that tip of the day, but they dont seem clear enough. When you have time, can you edit my subpage User:adam the atom/signature into a signature as follows: my username adam the atom, all in small letters, bold, and with the image Flag of Canada.svg on either side with a height of 12 and a width of 24. also make sure clicking on my name goes to my talk page, not my user page. greatly appreciated. Now that you are co-president, I don't think its fair that the potd is in my userspace. I suggest we move it to User:LinuxMoney/potd. What do you think? -- GeorgeMoney T· C 03:50, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
You are certainly an excellent user yourself, and I really appreciate your positive comments about being trusted with the admin tools. Thanks again!

Thank you for the trust that you had in me when you supported my Request for Adminship. The nomination ended successfully and I am actually overwhelmed by the support that I received. Thanks again! -- Kim van der Linde at venus 07:05, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
Why do you insist on changing one of the images i nominated at Wikipedia:Random picture of the day? The whole point of that project is that anyone can add a picture, and that there are no requirements (other than obvious copyright ones). Please explain your reasoning. -- Hetar 17:17, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

I wanted to drop a brief note on your talk page (one admittedly not written to you only, but nevertheless truly meant) to thank you for your vote in my Request for Adminship, which concluded this evening. Even though it was unsuccessful, it did make clear to me some areas in which I can improve my contributions to Wikipedia, both in terms of the areas in which I can participate and the manner in which I can participate. I do plan on, at some point in the future (although, I think, not the near future), attempting the process again, and I hope you will consider participating in that voting process as well. If you wish in the future to offer any constructive criticism to me, or if I may assist you with anything, I hope you will not hesitate to contact me. Thanks again. — WCityMike ( T | C) ⇓ plz reply HERE ( why?) ⇓ 04:25, 4 June 2006 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Random picture of the day (formerly User:GeorgeMoney/potd) has been nominated for deletion by Hetar because he doesn't like a rule that could have just been discussed on the talk page instead of nominating it for deletion. Please vote on the MfD page. Thanks, GeorgeMoney T· C 15:26, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Hello, Linuxerist/June 2006, and thank you for the supportive vote on my recent RfA! With a final vote of 84/1/4, I have now been entrusted with the mop, bucket and keys. I will be slowly acclimating myself to my new tools over the next months, but welcome any and all feedback and suggestions on how I might be able to use them to help the project. Thanks again! - Kukini 13:34, 13 June 2006 (UTC) |

Thanks for voting! Hello Linuxerist/June 2006, and thank you so much for voting in my recent RfA. I am pleased to inform you that it passed with a final tally of (119/1/3), into the WP:100, so I have now been cleared for adminship and will soon be soaring above the clouds. I was overjoyed, shocked, and humbled by the tally, and, most importantly, all the support. Thank you. If there is ever anything you need, you know where you can find me. Take care. |

I'm sure many of you who are using monobook have noticed recently an ugly sitenotice saying something about wikimania and scholarships. Well, to remove that, put the following in your monobook.css:
/* REMOVE THAT UGLY SITENOTICE */ #siteNotice { display: none; }
I hope this is of any help to you!

I've been trying to get in touch with you on GTalk, email and finally here because I'd just like to ask a question: Why are you leaving?
It's fine and good to leave if you need a break, but we're your friends and we want to know why. Maybe it's something we can help you with. Please answer the question, even if it's in a private e-mail.
You told me you were 'quitting everything' in a message on google talk, yet you didn't even give me enough time to respond, let alone ask why. It irks me but I don't "hate" you for it. You've said you were leaving wikipedia before and came back several times. Do you really mean it this time? If so, it begs the question why. We're your friends and we care..we want to know if there's something we can do to help. —

For what it's worth, when I see people leaving, I just say, "Good-bye and good luck." I don't think it's worth trying to convince people to stick around. This is, after all, only a volunteer project, and the odds of success of getting someone to reverse his mind on such a low investment are small. If they want to come back later, that's fine; they'll do it on their own. But trying to convince people to stick around against their will and self-determination only leads to bad things. -- Cyde↔Weys 19:46, 22 June 2006 (UTC)

As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
