What ho. I see you are an eager and active Wikipedia fan. Just wanted to say that the White Eagle might not be a common personification of Poland but it certainly was used as its symbol by various poets and writers- therefore I have taken the liberty to place it as such. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hoodinski ( talk • contribs)
Hi Kpalion, hope your thesis is going ok.
I noticed you created Image:Location-Pol-Lith-Commonwealth.png, so I was wondering if, when you get a chance, you could do the same for the following years: 1025, 1138, 1320, and 1370. I want to add those maps to some of the articles in Template:Polish statehood. Appleseed ( Talk) 18:23, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi there. As one of the participants in the Saints WikiProject could you perhaps take a look at Saint Metrophanes. There are contradictions on the page and I haven't been able to find a good solid source to base a factual article on in my admittedly rather quick web search. I have no special knowledge of this subject and only came to the article in order to fix a dead external link but had to stay around to clear up some of the mess. Can you help? -- Spondoolicks 12:25, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Hello Kpalion. We of wikipedia need verification of the aricle entitled Mykola Rohozhynskyy. Please send me your sources of where you found the information for this article and send them to my talk page. Also, look over this article you have written to make sure it has not been vandalized. We are not blaming you for anything. Just send us your sources or tell me if your article has been vandalized. From User:Wikipediatrician.

There has been some additions to the John Bosco page saying he was a closest homosexual or pederast. This is not NPOV.
Do you agree? evrik 23:23, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

It was the established operation of the WikiProject Saints to have a section in the info box on a sample prayer. Some editors have been recently been attacking this in the individual articles.
It is my belief that prayers in a literary or historic context are NPOV. I can understand that some may consider the inclusion of a prayer to be hagiographic, but freedom of religion is not freedom from religion.
There is a 3RR about to happen on a number of these articles. I am trying to be philosophical about this, but don’t want to yield the point when what is happening goes against the consensus and borders on vandalism.
It is my understanding that if an editing disagreement occurs that the status quo, in this case leaving the prayers in place, holds until it is resolved. I encourage you to comment on this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Saints. I have posted my thoughts at the village pump.

Is it posible to redraw that on a world map. It doesnt show US and Canda and parts of Turkey is cut. Location of Turkey to Iraq, Afganistan Russia (USSR) is important in my view and was one of the reasons why Turkey was granted membership. -- Cat out 15:48, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

An image you uploaded, Image:Lodomeria coa.jpg, was tagged with the {{ coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{ seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 01:24, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:Galicia_coa.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. Hi Kpalion. You uploaded the commons:Image:Order_of_Smile.png and marked it as public domain. I created a SVG-Version from it commons:Image:Order_of_Smile.svg. Currently there is a discussion on deleting both images, since there arose doubts about the PD-state. Can you submit any information to clear this question? I recently happened upon the article and was delighted by the wealth of information and the quality of the writing and presentation. It certainly deserves at least GA status. Dear friends:
If you have some extra time, I would appreciate if you can take a look to Category:Coats of arms of clans of Poland and Category:Polish nobility coats of arms images, mainly the Talk pages.
There is an Italian wikipedian, who knows nothing about Polish history and Polish szlachta and he is rearranging the categories in Category:Coats of arms of Poland
In commons he is User:G.dallorto
My point of view may have some mistakes but I would thank you very much your thought and your discussion on this issue.
As today I got few time I am sending this same message to:
If you know somebody else interested in Polish heraldry and Polish szlachta, please invite him to join this Discussion.
Best regards, my friends, and thank you by your answer to this request. -- Gustavo 08:14, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

The project was recently given an award as a group, something I don't think happens very often. As the founder of the project, I think a lot of the credit goes to you. So, I hope on the behalf of the rest of the project, I think you personally deserve this:

Thanks for uploading Image:Lodomeria coa.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 23:42, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Hello, this is a message from
an automated bot. A tag has been placed on
Talk:Żubrówka, by
Mieciu K, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be
speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because
Talk:Żubrówka is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see
Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting
Talk:Żubrówka, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at
WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate
Talk:Żubrówka itself. Feel free to leave a message on the
bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --

Rendering "res publica" as "public affair" has much less sense, the compound is effectively and regularly used in the sense of "the state" by Roman writers in reference to their state (either to the republic or the empire), and this is the meaning rendered in Polish as "Rzeczpospolita". I never met "res publica" in the meaning alleged in the article, because for "public affairs" the plural form is used. So? 193.0.79.15 11:51, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Hello,
I am a little bit surprised by the licence for Image:Smoking jacket.png: "life of the author plus 70 years" suggests that the author of this photograph died at most in 1937, and the colour rendition is not consistant with the colour films of the era. Also, no source is provided. Could you have a look at this, please ? Thank you very much in advance ! Rama 13:55, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

A {{

List of Polish flags/new version, suggesting that it be deleted according to the
proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's
criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "
What Wikipedia is not" and
Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on
its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the
proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the
speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to
Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if
consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{
