I am glad you put your name forward and were chosen to serve on the election committee. I have appreciated the work you've done. Thanks for your time and efforts. Best, Barkeep49 ( talk) 21:13, 12 November 2018 (UTC)
I have added you and the other members of the Election Committee to an arbitration request: /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case#Statement_by_Fred_Bauder/info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case#Statement_by_Fred_Bauder User:Fred Bauder Talk 20:47, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
You recently offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fred Bauder. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fred Bauder/Evidence. Please add your evidence by November 27, 2018, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Fred Bauder/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration. For the Arbitration Committee, -- Cameron11598 (Talk) 21:09, 16 November 2018 (UTC)
Hello, KTC. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Hi KTC, I sent you an email about the Section 21 notice GA review, and then began taking a closer look at some of the related articles. I think that to meet good article criterion #3, "Broad in its coverage," it would be good to have a History or Background section giving a narrative about how and why Section 21 notices came to become a part of the legislative landscape concerning leases, and mentioning controversies and proposals for reforms to this process. For example, it looks like there was a Tenancies (Reform) Bill 2014-15 introduced by Sarah Teather. In accordance with WP:UNDUE, this section need not be extensive, but I think this context would help the reader grasp the significance and purpose of Section 21 notices within British society.
I've added some pertinent information to Housing Act 1988 and will probably continue researching and adding pertinent content there as I find it. Thanks, MW131tester ( talk) 04:08, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Dear KTC,
Our paths have crossed, over Edward VI's missing arm, but I've never thanked you for creating the Monmouthshire Grade II*s page. It's given me a huge amount of pleasure and, now that the Grade Is are complete, having an article, with photo, for every Grade II* entry has become something of a Holy Grail. It's also led to a number of very enjoyable trips back to my home county, which I get to visit less than I would like these days. So, many thanks indeed for creating it. All the best. Dear KTC, following on from the discussion above, would you have any objection to the addition of a reference column to this template? I've in mind the style followed here, Template:English Heritage listed building header. This would allow for the use of references for each building using this, {{ National Historic Assets of Wales}}, a template DavidCane kindly created recently. I'd be happy to try to amend it myself, although I've no template experience!, or would be hugely grateful if you'd do it. Thanks and best regards. KJP1 ( talk) 10:39, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

Administrators
must secure their accounts
The Arbitration Committee may require a new RfA if your account is compromised.

This message was sent to all administrators following a recent motion. Thank you for your attention. For the Arbitration Committee, Cameron11598 03:02, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
ArbCom would like to apologise and correct our previous mass message in light of the response from the community.
Since November 2018, six administrator accounts have been compromised and temporarily desysopped. In an effort to help improve account security, our intention was to remind administrators of existing policies on account security — that they are required to "have strong passwords and follow appropriate personal security practices." We have updated our procedures to ensure that we enforce these policies more strictly in the future. The policies themselves have not changed. In particular, two-factor authentication remains an optional means of adding extra security to your account. The choice not to enable 2FA will not be considered when deciding to restore sysop privileges to administrator accounts that were compromised.
We are sorry for the wording of our previous message, which did not accurately convey this, and deeply regret the tone in which it was delivered.
For the Arbitration Committee, - Cameron11598 21:03, 4 May 2019 (UTC)

the committee will review all available information to determine whether the administrator followed "appropriate personal security practices" before restoring permissions; administrators found failing to have adequately done so
will not be resysopped automatically. All current administrators have been notified of this change.

I've been reading about progress on your initiative to cover women footballers in collaboration with adidas and women sports writers. Do you happen to have a list of the 200 biographies which need to be covered, including those which have already been started? I think it would be useful to bring the missing names to the attention of WikiProject Women in Red where assistance may be available. I see, by the way, that you have yourslef been actively writing articles on women's football leagues, etc., since last September and have already created 25 articles. Hi Katie. I saw you created a new article for London City Lionesses. A BBC article published today suggests they "ended their affiliation with the men's Millwall team", "change[d] its playing name" and "will continue to participate in the FA Women's Championship", which suggests it's a continuation of the same team, just under a different name ( this FA statement also uses the phrase "change its playing name"). Elsewhere, it's suggested a "Millwall Lionesses" team will be run by the club's community trust, but that this would be the new club (see this from a local journalist).
I think it would be better to move the Millwall Lionesses to London City Lionesses F.C. to retain its history, and redirect London City Lionesses there (F.C. is part of the name based on their Twitter handle). Would you be ok with this? If the new Millwall Lionesses become notable, we can start a new article there with a hatnote. Cheers, Number 5 7 19:38, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

Since the introduction of temporary user rights, it is becoming more usual to accord the New Page Reviewer right on a probationary period of 3 to 6 months in the first instance. This avoids rights removal for inactivity at a later stage and enables a review of their work before according the right on a permanent basis.
