Revesion

I noticed an extraneous &nbsp ; in one of the references, removed it but that also reverted your " met extensively" word reversal, and I've no idea why. So I just reverted my correction of the reference with the non-breaking space. Just in case you were wondering what was going on. invenio t c 01:43, 31 May 2024 (UTC) reply

@ Invenio, that's fine, no problem! I hadn't noticed anyway. JoelleJay ( talk) 01:54, 31 May 2024 (UTC) reply

Dani Cavarallo

She has next to no biography in her books, so it's a real pain to try to figure out who this person is and why they're apparently an authority on anything. The Westminister University site has a single reference to her, saying she was head of the English Studies department in the 90's, implying she has a PhD in English literature. For whatever reason, she became a freelance writer after that, cranking out a lot of books that are very low quality. Harizotoh9 ( talk) 10:49, 25 June 2024 (UTC) reply

Source assessment chart

I am thinking of preparing a source assessment chart for a currently pending AfD. Can you direct me to the template that you use in these situations? Cbl62 ( talk) 04:46, 1 July 2024 (UTC) reply

Hi @ Cbl62, I've used this source assessment table since it comes up in the template search when you edit a page directly. It only holds like 10 sources though.
That AfD is yet another example of the fact that "the NFL" was just not a big deal at all for several decades of its early years, and it's ridiculous to treat players from that time as if you can expect the same level of coverage for them as we do for players 1950s-on. And routine transactional coverage really shouldn't be counted any differently whether it appears in a 1920s newspaper vs 2020s web news. JoelleJay ( talk) 00:06, 3 July 2024 (UTC) reply
