Previously the crown had been held by Zhang Zilin, who was representing the People's Republic of China when she won in 2007. Kseniya is from the Tyumen region, located just north west of Siberia in Russia. She is college studying to be an engineer of administration, with a co-ambition of becoming a super model. It is probably a good bet that because her victory at Miss World 2008, that she will stand a very good chance at becoming a model after this.
