Hi Imcdc! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. We hope to see you there!
Delivered by HostBot on behalf of the Teahouse hosts 16:13, 28 April 2020 (UTC) |
Hello, I'm TheImaCow. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Satoshi Ishii, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. TheImaCow ( talk) 07:20, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
Hello Imcdc! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GirthSummit (blether) 10:35, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
Hello, Imcdc,
Thank you for creating PAG (investment firm).
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
A plethora of the sources used in the article and a google search shows sources that read like mere announcements, press releases, and sponsored posts. I do not believe notability for companies, see; ( ORG) is met at the moment thus I have indicated that and have also manually marked the page as unreviewed.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Celestina007}}
. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Qiming Venture Partners, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Onel5969 TT me 17:14, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Hi, I see that you recently made a few helpful edits to " The Blackstone Group" and that you have also been working on improving articles about private equity companies. I am hoping you would not mind looking at an edit request I made on February 24th here, which has still gone unanswered. I believe they are straightforward and constructive. Thanks in advance. Hello Imcdc! Your additions to Draft:Huatai Securities have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

An article you recently created,
Fernand Lopez, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from
reliable,
independent sources. (
?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to
draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's
general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.

Devonian Wombat ( talk) 12:43, 20 July 2021 (UTC)Hi there. I am an employee at PGIM working to improve the company's Wikipedia article. Of course, I can't make any direct edits due to a conflict of interest. I noticed that you are pretty active in this sphere and was hoping you might be willing to take a look at my first edit request. I believe it is formatted in a manner that will make it easy for you to review. Thanks for your time! 12.42.50.52 ( talk) 16:42, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

Theroadislong ( talk) 13:25, 5 October 2021 (UTC)There are a series of nominations from you in the WP:AFD log about a wide range of topics. I'm curious as to how you found these articles and were prompted to nominate them? Also curious whether you undertook any of the activities described at WP:BEFORE given that some of the nominations referenced the articles' current condition and sources, rather than available sources. And I couldn't find one that had been tagged, or where notability had been discussed on the talk page. Then there's the fact that several of the nominations were launched just minutes apart, suggesting nowhere near enough time for WP:BEFORE (which is a requirement, not a suggestion). Happy to go through and make a case for each one (on that basis alone), but I thought I'd come and have a chat to you here rather than at WP:ANI. St★lwart 111 05:11, 15 October 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for
your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from
The Carlyle Group into
Draft:Kewsong Lee. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere,
Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an
edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and
linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{
copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at
Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. —

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Baillie Gifford, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Also at Fidelity International. Please do not change numbers in articles without citing a source for the new number. You must have got the new number from somewhere, please specify where.
